Time is the only ointment for broken souls.

Sometimes, time is all it takes to forget the past, overcome traumas, and get a chance for a new beginning.

Many things could happen within a short gasp of time, many changes could occur, many tables could turn, and everything that seemed once impossible proves its capability by showing the exact opposite.

In this life, everything is possible, everything and no matter how much surreal it may seem could happen, you are living proof of this, you're life changed in the blink of an eye, and you lost everything you once owned between the dawn and the dusk of one single day, your freedom included.

If twenty-four hours were enough for such a big change to take place, two years are more than enough to create yet another turnover, dramatic or not it doesn't matter, it's a change nonetheless.

One that you thought could never happen, but it did.

You bid freedom goodbye when you saw Seokjin laying down breathless, blood oozing from his cracked skull, it was you who had called the police and informed them about the crime that had taken place, when they asked you if you have seen the culprit, that confession of yours was the first handcuff you felt around your wrist before the coldness of their metallic ones engulfs the soft skin.

When the judge pronounced your sentence, your gaze met your freedom once again, an apologetic look with a tear that had rolled down your cheeks were the only goodbye you could wave to it, knowing that you may never meet again.

Your mind kept traveling between different trances while your eyes were lost in your reflection in the mirror, it has been a while since you last saw that kind of image although it was your own, you couldn't agree more, appearance can easily change with some makeup and few accessories. You were about to forget to give some merited credit to the hair, the stylist did a good job in that department.

"It's all done Madame, I hope it's to your liking."

A faint smile crept on your lips, you were about to thank the lady and dismiss her when another person decided to do that in your stead.

" Beautiful. You did a good job, miss Choi, you can take your leave now."

Your eyes darted to meet the person who stood behind you, occupying the place miss Choi left empty, you were curious about many things, and many matters were the topics of your questions, but you decided to leave them on hold for a while, as you needed to address another subject for the moment before venturing on others.

" Why you're dolling me up?"

It's not like you had a job to tend to, nor did you need to meet with people or go outside sightseeing or shopping, just like when you were in the hospital, the majority of your time was spent in your room so you weren't able to figure out the reason behind the sudden new look you were forced to undergo.
