"Ohh...Okay!" Jisoo's voice still carried a hint of nervousness, but she tried to push it aside. However, a sudden surge of curiosity flooded her senses, tempting her to ask the question that lingered on her mind.

"So, what exactly do you do at night?" she asked, genuinely interested. Taehyung's forehead creased in surprise at her boldness.

"Remember the night we met at the nightclub?" Taehyung took a few steps closer, and Jisoo nodded in response.

"Well, believe it or not, I actually supervise those places," Taehyung revealed, a small smile playing on his lips. Jisoo's brows furrowed, her eyes widening in disbelief.

"You supervise nightclubs? That's your job?" Jisoo couldn't help but find it absurd. Taehyung smiled again, his gaze fixed on her.

"It's more complicated than that, but to simplify it for you... yes, I supervise nightclubs with some family members. However, soon I'll be joining my father, which will change my position," Taehyung explained, his voice low and close to Jisoo.

"But why? Why do you guys supervise those places? I just don't understand how it relates to who you are," Jisoo expressed her confusion. Taehyung studied her closely, his eyes filled with intrigue. She genuinely wanted to comprehend everything.

"I'm afraid we'll have to discuss this another day. I need to go," Taehyung informed Jisoo, his gaze unwavering. Jisoo smiled softly, giving him a small nod.

"I understand... Thank you for allowing me to stay in your room," Jisoo uttered, still wrapped in her blanket.

"Rest well... I'll take my leave now," Taehyung said, swiftly exiting the room. Jisoo smiled, his words lingering in her mind as she slowly made her way to his bed. As she looked at the bed, a sudden realization struck her.

"Did my dad run a nightclub in Forkland? If he was involved with them, he must have had something to do with those nightclubs," Jisoo exclaimed, astonishment filling her voice.

It was an ordinary evening at Port Lake's nightclub. The crowd was alive, dancing and reveling in the vibrant atmosphere. Taehyung observed the transformation of the club-goers as they unknowingly consumed the unique alcoholic beverages being served. This particular potion possessed a mysterious quality, casting a subtle haze over those who indulged in it.

Unbeknownst to them, these individuals became entranced, providing an opportunity for Taehyung's team to extract fragments of their very souls. The altered alcohol rendered them unconscious, their minds blanketed by its effects. However, precision was paramount for every soul reaper under Taehyung's command. Extracting the precise amount of essence from each person's soul was a matter of life and death. Any miscalculation could result in immediate demise, a risk Taehyung couldn't afford, especially considering the relentless scrutiny from the authorities.

"What's the matter?" Taehyung questioned, his voice filled with concern, as he heard a disturbance near his chamber. His loyal shadows swiftly gathered in front of him, restraining a person they had found lurking around.

"Sir... we discovered this individual sneaking around the premises," one of the shadows informed Taehyung. A wide smile spread across his face upon witnessing the fear-stricken expression on the captive's face.

"Well, well, well... what do we have here? Quite audacious of you to enter this place alone," Taehyung remarked, his gaze filled with intensity. He swiftly approached the man, gripping his jaw firmly.
