I wake up on Roy's chest. He's shirtless. Oh.
I get up to brush my teeth right away. After that I wash my face. I go downstairs to have a drink of water and go back up to my room.
Roy is still sleeping, so I lay on his chest again because why not. I feel safe with him here.
A few minutes later he wakes up.
"Amara? happy birthday love." he says in a really raspy voice...
"Dude you said that a million times already" I laugh. He wraps his arms around me and falls back asleep for a few more minutes.
"Roy?" I say
"Mm" he responds
"Oh I'm sorry"
"Nah u good"
I roll over to the other side of bed and put on my glasses. Roy gets up.
He puts on his sweatshirt, socks, then slides.
"Ight let's go mar" he says. His voice is still raspy.
"What?" I ask. What does he mean "let's go"???
"I said I have a surprise for you remember? Pack a bag. Bring nice clothes, your toothbrush, all ya makeup n shit idc." He says, trying to find his keys.
"Oh?" I ask. I'm very surprised.
I get a duffel bag. I put my best shoes, clothes, makeup, and my toiletries in it in under 15 min. What can I say, I'm excited.

I have a whole day planned, just for her: Get ready at my house. Eat breakfast at her favorite diner. Take her shopping. Come back to my house then head to Jessie's house for the party.
We are getting ready at my crib. I get out of the shower and start brushing my teeth. I see Mar struggling to put her skinny jeans on.
When I'm done brushing my teeth, I put in a white tee with an all black Nike tech, with white air forces. Simple.
Mar has a pink long sleeve crop top with skinny jeans and white air forces too. She looks good fr. She already has her makeup done. She takes her Burberry perfume out of her back and sprays it all over her.
"You ready?" I say, staring at her.

I'm so full. I had two chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, and bacon.
We're walking to Victoria's Secret. He already bought me so much. I told him it's fine, but he insisted. On the way there, I decided to stop at foot locker. I go walk around, I'm not quite sure what I want. Roy follows me, he tries to find shoes for himself too.
"Do you see anything you want?" He asks
"Nah" I say. "Let's go"
As we leave, I see him. We make eye contact. I freeze.
