"Wait what date is it?" I asked
"It's your birthday Royalty," she said and my mouth fell open.
That's right
It's my birthday
Yay!
"With the face your making I'm guessing you forgot," she said
"I did," I said.
"Well know you remember. Your breakfast is probably getting cold," she said and I nod.
The sound of my heels on the tiles kisses our ears as she led me to the dining room.
"How is your daughter?" I asked as we walked.
"She doing better," she said and I smiled.
That's good.
Her daughter had falling sick a week ago.
"You should bring her to work with you sometime," I said
"I couldn't. She would disturb you in your line of work and mine,"
"Nonsense I'm sure I can take a day off just for her," I said
"Well okay then, you're the boss," she said and I smiled.
"Yay!" I clapped before we entered the dining room.
"Just have a seat," she said and I sat down.
She walked out and soon the maids walked in with platter.
They placed the food down and I smiled.
"Thank you," I said before diving into my food.
After I was done eating I grabbed my phone. I had already received happy birthday wishes.
The doors of the dinning room opened again and two maids walked in with a huge cake.
My personal chef walked in behind them and they all started singing me happy birthday.
First, they sang in English then Russian then Italian.
I grinned as I got up. "Make a wish," Melissa yelled.
'I wish that someday I'll be able to have a wonderful family- wait that it I can't have kids and I'm not capable of finding love'
Without making a wish I blew out the candles and my staff cheered for me.
"Happy birthday Regina. We love you!"
"Thank you. I love and appreciate you guys so much" I said before giving the chef a hug.
"Thank you," I said
"Anything for you Royalty," she said and I pulled away.
"I have to go now and you can all leave after finishing your morning chores," I announced before walking out.
I sighed as my mind went back to what I wanted to wish for.
A lover? Don't be a clown Royalty
Lorenzo has probably moved on already. Plus we're enemies. It has been three months since we last saw each other too.
And I can't bare children so why did that wish even come to my head.
Dreams and wishes don't came true unless it's a fairytale.
I was about to walked out of the house when Melissa stopped me.
"Miss Valentino,"
"Yes," I said and she gave me a birthday card.
I opened the card and read it.
