Over the next four year, nothing really changed. I was still stuck inside, though lately after my 4th birthday, which we don't celebrate, they began allowing me outside more and more. And I've only been back inside of the village a few more times, all before I could walk.

Because of this, I have no idea where in the plot I exactly am. I know it's some time after Minato, since his face is on the monument, and sometime before tsunade, since her face isn't on the monument. But other than that, I have no idea.

True to my vow, I have found a way to swirl my chakra in my sleep. Well... more like I literally never stop swirling it. It took a while (approximately two years) to achieve. It was exhausting at first, causing me to sleep more often, but my parents didn't notice it... because I was a baby.

Anyways, thanks to the swirling my chakra reserves has grown, slowly though. Considering my civilian background, I don't really have much of any chakra reserves so of course it's taking quite a while to grow, though of course it's still progress. At the moment, my chakra reserves are that of the average 3rd year ninja academy student.

Since I didn't have access to outdoors until recently, the only thing I could do was meditate and focus on my senses and chakra, or read the very limited amount (2) of books we own. Which are both fantasy books.

Which leads me back to the whole 'not celebrating my birthday' thing. As has been pointed out numerous times, we're poor. So we don't have the money to be celebrating. And, y'know, my parents both also grew up poor, and their parents were, excuse the language, assholes. So they never had birthday parties, other than a 'happy birthday' being told to them. So... they don't celebrate mine. They don't even tell me happy birthday, but I'm pretty sure it's because they don't want me growing up knowing it's supposed to be celebrated and being disappointed when we can't. Though their efforts are wasted.

Today, while my parents are tending the farms, their letting me roam the fields and stuff. So, my plan is to attempt the leaf exercise. Or, in other words, attempt chakra control.

Based what is taught in the anime, it should be relatively simple for me, since I have small chakra reserves as a civilian. So I wondered to the forest and picked a leaf. I then matched the chakra in my hand to the amount of chakra in the leaf, pretty simple for someone who can literally feel the chakra in the air. I turned my hand upside down and... it stuck!

Now, to the ninjas of this world this would be a pretty small feat. But to me, someone who has never witnessed something like this in my life, it's amazing! I couldn't help the giddy feeling in my chest or the smile that worked it's way on my face.

I quickly shook my head, focusing once again and then decided to do it on my forehead. I focused the proper amount to a certain spot and placed the leaf before letting go. It stuck there as well!

Now to the usual person trying this for the first time, they would have troubles. With either the amount of chakra they are focusing or with getting enough chakra to the desired place. Of course, I've been moving my chakra around my entire body in different amounts for 4 years, so it's simple for me.

The next step for me is the tree walking exercise. Which will be quite... different. Why? Because in order to do something like that, you need some serious ab muscles! I mean, seriously? Walking vertically. But working out is for losers, so I'm going to attempt to support myself using my chakra rather than my muscles, which will no doubt take more than one try. This will, hopefully, help me develop my chakra some more.

I begin my first attempt by focusing my chakra along my back, to support it and keep it from falling while I'm walking against gravity. I then focus chakra to my feet, the same amount I could feel from the tree. I then began running towards said tree.

I got 5 steps up before the chakra in my back gave out and I fell, feet still connected to the tree, and slammed my back to said tree, consequently relieving my lungs of any air. After coughing and regaining my air, I concentrated chakra to my hands before pushing them to the tree and releasing my feet. Effectively allowing me to swing my feet down to the ground without falling on my head.

My ability to sense chakra, it's really awesome. I'm glad chakra control is so easy. You see, sensing chakra is something I do passively, though I've never mentioned it before. In other words, I am always constantly feeling the chakra around me in a 500ft radius, still growing in range might I add. I can't not feel it. It's kind of like how adamant readers learn to tune out voices of others so they can keep reading. They still hear those people talking, but have learned to ignore them. The chakra around me is like those voices to people who read. I can still come back to the sense if something, such as a larger chakra reserve, enters the radius. If that makes sense.

Anyways, I spent the rest of the day attempting to walk up the tree. But in the end, although I was eventually able to walk up the tree without strain, I figured it would be better to begin training my body anyways.

The next day, a Tuesday, Tou-san and Kaa-san are going to the village. Why they're leaving a 4 year old by himself? I think they think I'm capable enough. Something about me proving to them I can take care of myself for a few hours.

Strange to me, but not to them. They were probably also left in the house alone at this age or something. Honestly, they probably shouldn't be taking pages out of their parents books but who am I to care.

While they were gone I began 'researching'. My idea is that I can use my chakra to stimulate my muscles for a given amount of time and simulate exercise, because at the end of the day, exercise is not something I really want to do.

So I sat on my bed, which is pretty much just hay with a thin blanket over it, in the lotus position and focused my chakra to my muscles.

It was a strange feeling. My chakra leaving my chakra pathway and stimulating my muscles through what felt like a sort of vibration.

It worked, incredibly well in fact. My muscles soon became weak feeling as if I had just run a marathon with a crate on my back. My body was shaking as if I had pushed myself past my physical limit. I slowly did this to every muscle in my body. And I do mean EVERY muscle, even my tongue.

By the end my chakra was depleted and my body exhausted. Thankfully, it only took 30 min so I have rest of the day as well.

As I lay on my bed, trying to relax my body, I began to think of this method. It's probably extremely dangerous unless you have very proficient chakra control. Considering if you add too much by accident you could tear a muscle.

It's probably best for me to keep this method a secret.

After my body stopped shaking so much, I stood and began doing stretches and outlandish poses.

In my last life, I always had lean muscles and was pretty flexible. I would like to keep that in this life. And since I am working on my physical strength currently, the best way to keep from being big and bulky is to keep muscles stretched and lean.
