chapter 11 Meeting the parents

Nina Pov

I was in the kitchen eating when I heard footsteps coming and stopping in front of me. I looked up and saw Chase he looks nervous like he wants to tell me something.

Hey, you okay? I said,

Hey love I wanna talk to you. He said.

Okay, what's up? I said.

My parents are coming back today with their friends Alpha and Luna from moonlight pack and they want to meet you. He said.

Okay, what time do I need to be ready? I said.

They will be here in an hour. He said.

Okay, I will go get ready. I said.

I went to our room to take a shower and get dressed. I did my hair in a high ponytail and a white floral dress with white flats. I put on light makeup. I headed to the living room. I sat next to Chase and he pulled me to his chest. We heard a car honk and he said they are here. Are you ready? He said.

All of a sudden the door opened and in walked a woman in her 40s along with a man. And two other people around the same age. The one couple hugged Chase and Mia.

Mom, I want you to meet my mate. He said.

Mom this is Nina. He said.

Oh my, ain't you beautiful hello dear. She said.

Hello Mrs. Hunter. I said.

She gave me a hug squeezing me.

Mom, can you let my mate breathe? Chase said.

Sorry, dear. She said.

I got up and walked outside Chase followed me.

We had a daughter but she was kidnapped when she was 2 years old. We can't find her we have looked. Your mother use to be a pack member and her mate died in battle. You look like our daughter. That is why you feel a connection to us. I believe you are our daughter. They said.
