Cornelia by Taylor Swift was playing on the stereo while our car was passing the road. It was a bright Saturday, the skies were cloudless and it was clear. May kainitan ang panahon ngunit tama lang. It looked like the sky didn't even shed a raindrop yesterday night.
God, it was fun last night. Hindi namin namalayan kung anong oras na kaming bumalik sa condo niya. We waited for the rain to stop first before going back. Basang-basa pa kami pabalik habang dala-dala ang mga gamit. Mabuti na lang at hindi kami nagkasakit kinabukasan sa ginawa namin kagabi.
Pero aminin man o hindi, we enjoyed what happened last night.
'Ni hindi ko na nga maalala kung kailan ako huling naligo sa ulan.
"Malayo pa ba tayo?" I asked.
"Kaunti na lang,"
Tinanaw ko naman ang dinadaanan namin sa labas. We're on an expressway, and dozens of cars were behind and in front of us. Our windows were rolled down, making it free for the air to enter the car.
The scene was like a moment from a summer best selling movie in theaters. It was treasurable, moments like this were unforgettable.
"Madalas ka ba sa resthouse niyo? I threw a glance at him.
"Nope, ngayon na lang ako ulit do'n. I wanted to bring you there and show you to some places." He said.
Nanatili naman ang pagkakahawak ko sa lollipop sa kamay ko habang nakikipag-usap sa kanya, "Isn't Tagaytay near your resthouse's place? Pupunta ba tayo ro'n?"
Based on what Sol said yesterday, they're going to visit Tagaytay today! Kaya nang malaman kong malapit din pala sa Tagaytay ang lugar na pinagtatayuan ng rest house nila Ace, naisip kong baka magkita-kita pa kaming lahat do'n.
"Try natin this Sunday."
I nodded at him and continued eating the lollipop. Isa talaga 'yon sa paraan ko para hindi mahilo sa biyahe. When I knew that our travel would be more than an hour, hindi na ako nagpatumpik-tumpik pa at nagbaon ng maraming candy sa bag. I even brought my blanket with me in case I wanted to sleep. Mas mabuting matulog na lang kaysa sumuka.
Ace already told me what to expect at the place. Hindi raw talaga mawawala yung perya gabi-gabi sa may di kalayuan sa bahay nila ro'n. Their funfair was really famous and was really visited by many from the other towns! Bukod sa perya, marami rin daw convenience store at food stalls na pwedeng kainan.
In short, their town was really popular among people, especially kids.
