Katsuki did what he was told and went to his lawyer's office, he showed her the picture since Shoto had sent it to his phone and he she gave him the papers to sign and he did. Izuku had asked him what was wrong and he just brushed it off by saying he was tired from work. Now that he knows the truth, maybe this was the reason why Izuku was always home late and made up some crappy excuse that he was going to work overtime at the agency.
Katsuki blamed himself for it, he thought he was then problem but you can't blame someone who was in no control of what happen. Katsuki placed the divorce papers in the second drawer of the night stand.
He received an alert on his phone that all hero's were needed as Shigiraki had finally decide to show his face and his workers are terrorizing the city. Katsuki put on his suit as he dashed out to find the center of the problem and there they were, his class mates, Izuku, Shoto and Uraraka all lined up with citizens behind them.
Katsuki was shock and he was happy to see his classmates.
"What do you want Shigiraki?" Aizawa yelled
"It's simple, we will give up ourselves and we will change our lives around for the greater good, but only if one of you heroes sacrifice your life to do so." Shigiraki yelled back
Everyone was in shock, who would want to sacrifice their lives when they have families. It was quiet and Katsuki sighed. This was his chance to get away from reality, this world that hurt him the most.
"I'll do it." Katsuki said and gained everyone's attention.
"What are you talking about?" Izuku asked leaving Uraraka side.
"Didn't you hear what I said? I said that I will do it." Katsuki said as he moved to go infront of everyone.
"Kat, I allowed you to everything you want, but this, I certainly can not." Izuku replied
"I know about you and Uraraka.."Katsuki said and left Izuku in shock
"I know she is pregnant with your child Izuku, and I don't want you to choose between us because being a father is something you always dreamt of being. You know that I can't have kids and I can't because I chose you in the end, but you won't choose me. The day I lost the will to have kids was the day our baby died too and in this life Izuku, I choose for you to be happy." Katsuki said as the tears spill from his eyes.
"Katsuki I'm sorry....I'm so sorry." Izuku said
"But please don't do this." Izuku begged
Shoto was in shock.
"Katsuki, why are you doing this?" Shoto asked
"I'm sorry." Katsuki answered
"No Kat I know it's late and I have always wanted to tell but Katsuki I love you so please... stay." Shoto said as Katsuki placed his palm on the others cheek.
"If you love me then let me go." Katsuki said
"I'm sorry for that way that I had treated all of you, you all became role models to small kids and it was great knowing all of you and once again I'm sorry." Katsuki said as he did a 90 degrees now.
Katsuki turned around from the crowd and began walking slowly towards Shigiraki, he looked back to see that Shoto was begin hold back as the tears pour down his beautiful face.
"If the heavens here my pleads, all I asked is to be happy and be granted a next life, where I will be happy and one where I will meet Shoto and love him first." Katsuki pleaded, he was close enough to shigiraki, who immediately placed his hands around his neck except for the pinky.
"Any last words?" He asked
"I read about your case and as a hero, I am sorry that our system have failed you. You deserve better and I hope with this sacrifice you get to be happy and I want to say thank you for ending my life because I couldn't find it in me to do so." Katsuki said and he saw a tear fell from Shigiraki's eyes and that was it
Katsuki's body turned stone and crumble to the ground. Shoto let out a piercing scream as the fire had left his side making the one who held him back immediately let go.
He felt as if his heart was pulled out of his body. Everyone was in literal shock and they were some who were crying.
That day Katsuki received the title of the number 1 hero.
