Starting from this chapter, the main topic would be very important. The following conflict is known as the Imjin War, Japan's invasion of Korea. It involves two separate but linked invasions, the first one is in the year of 1592 and the second in the year of 1596. A peace negotiation had happened in 1596 but was unsuccesful, resulting in the second invasion.

There are a lot of sites on the internet regarding this important matter, you guys can check them out and read them.

I will only be using the when the war started, how the war started, and why the war started. I won't be writing anything that can be looked at as sensitive and disrespectful. I want to be cautious writing this chapter up to the next ones where the said war is still going to be mentioned.

This is important to the country and I want to be respectful as I can and would not write any personal information (an example is a person's name mentioned in the history of the war, from the sites I read and found them being mentioned a lot, as I am not confident that I will write the correct information I only found from the sites I read) I found while reading the history. I will only be writing those I think I can put in this chapter 'till the next ones.

As what I wrote in the Prologue of Kingdom, if you think I put any information wrong, please comment or slide in my DMs right away and have me edit it or delete that part. So I can correct it and avoid any misunderstanding, so I can learn from my mistake and do better if ever I make another story like this.

Bare in mind that I did my very best in researching about the war (and I was still researching to be sure on the details I wrote, I'm writing and will write soon)

I did not make this story for clout, I did this to also share what I found about the war before I published this story. And also, gives awareness of the significance of the war to the country, shows how it feels good to know one country's history, and most importantly, gets to know why it's important and gives respect to it even though it happened a long time ago.

Panic swam across the lands of Korea. In just a swift motion, it had everybody hastily leaving their homes, fleeing away in hopes they won't be captured or get killed by the uninvited visitors who welcomed themselves into the land they want to invade and conquer.

Reports from the southern area of Korea have reached our ears, saying the Japanese were moving in a very steady manner and had captured most of the lands in the south.

Nobody saw it coming, they took us by surprise, resulting in why they managed to take over the cities in no time. Our soldiers were unprepared, and have mercilessly killed by these people.

Now I understand why it took Jungkook too long to come back. I somewhat hated him a bit for promising me something that he won't be able to keep it.

He's out there, having a conference with the other Kings and other officials. They're planning on how should they counter-attack and cease the Japanese from obtaining more and more land until they successfully complete their mission.

I did not leave the kingdom.

Despite being told by the general to leave sooner, I did not. I don't intend to run away.

I want to have my people run away first before I do.

That's my job as a Queen. I can't go away first, leaving the people who entrusted their lives to me. Those people who believed in me.

Their King ain't here. I have to stand up for his position while he plans something to stop the Japanese.

"Have every cart filled with medicines, food, and basic necessities. Do not leave any cart empty-handed." I ordered. "Guide the people to the northern area of Korea, move quickly."
