                 Xander's POV
I kept staring at her with a smile. I guess she noticed me because she also started staring. She quickly turned which made me laugh she looked like a cute bunny, my cute bunny. In no time the class was over. I had maths with Xavier so I had to find him. I left the class in search of my crazy friend. While walking down the hallway I started wondering where the new girl was. I watched people pass by then suddenly I heard a soft thud. I looked back and saw her sitting on the floor. Turns out baby girl is a little clumsy. She bumped into someone oh, Audrey. I think they hit it off immediately because in no time they were both holding hands and laughing. I guess it was besties at first sight. Knowing Audrey I knew she would take care of new girl.
     Then I saw Xavier coming from a class. "Hey bro, how are you doing?" I said still smiling. He gave me a really weird look.

"You don't greet me with a large smile. I'm sure a girl is involved coz it looks like my man's got his first crush. How and who?tell me all the details." He said. I couldn't help but smile.

"Hey poker face. Shut up and let's get to maths. You are just being delusional. I also just saw Audrey pass." I knew that was a sensitive spot for him. He had a thing for her. It was so funny because I was so sure she had a thing for him. They were both playing hard to get. I was sure that if he went out with her, he would get committed. He knew too so; he was really avoiding that.

Well, I really need to talk to her. He said with a dreamy eye.

He zoned out for a few seconds it was so cute to watch. I could not help but smile. Yes, my friend was so whipped.

We walked into maths class not long after. While in class, all I could think of was the new girl. What exactly was she about? I remember her name was Annie. I was lost in world of my own until Xavier nudged me.

Hey, you are in class you know. He spoke.

I just smiled and replied. Im way past this topic.

Not to brag, I did well in school. I wasnt the dumb bad boy kind of guy you always hear about. So, it really wasnt a problem. I was lost almost throughout the class. My mind was wondering back and forth. Mr. Othniel did not seem to take notice of me. Few to the end of the class, I noticed Xaviers sleeping figure. I smiled he acted like he was Mr. incredible but here he was sleeping like his life depended on it. We have been friends since diapers. We have never done anything separately. We were always there for each other no matter how bad the situation was. He was like a constant in my life. Not long after the bell for the end of periods rang, we all started troop out of our respective classes. Xavier had theatre with Audrey while I had biology. You might be wondering why I knew Audreys schedule. Well, Xavier had an obsession.

Xaviers POV

Immediately I left maths class, I found my way to theatre. I could not wait for school to be over. I had to rush home to visit my grandfather. He was in the hospital. I knew Xander would go with me because he was the only one that cared to care for me. I lived with my grandparents since I was a child. My parents were too busy to take care of their son. So, they handed me over to them. i owe them both my life and everything. My grandma needs someone to always be there. And I cant compromise no matter how much of a son of a bitch I am. Xander was like a brother to me and at my house everyone treats him that way. So, m grandma expected both of us to come to the hospital.

Theatre went slowly. I had a long staring contest with. I smiled and looked away. I have liked her since middle school. She hated me though. I didnt want to meddle wither life because I knew I was going to hurt her if we ever got together. I was the player bad boy in movies. I could not keep one girl happy. Relationships werent for me. After theatre, I went to meet Xander. It was lunch so I told him about us going to visit grandpa after school in the hospital. The rest of the day went by quickly. We were both on our way to the hospital in no time.

Alexanders POV

After Xavier and I left for the hospital, we stopped at grandpas best bakery. I bought muffins because those were his favourites. I felt sad that he was down. He was diagnosed with stage two cancer, and it was hard for Xavier and Granny. We all did our best to take good care of him. When we arrived, Granny was making hot Choco. She looked really stressed. her face immediately brightens up when we walked in.

My boys are finally here. She said pulling us into a big hug.

She was small so we both covered her. No one from school should see us this way. The school bad boys become softies for granny. We pouted like little babies while asking if she missed us. Grandpa cleared his throat then he finally said.

Boys Im the sick one here pay attention. We all started laughing. He was so strong. Even with how sick he was he managed to make us smile. Granny kissed him and spoke.

Well, I know you are here honey, but the boys love me.

We were all laughing messes with them getting cosy.

Well, thats enough cosiness for me today. He said cringing like a six-year-old child. We all laughed then I remembered we brought muffins. We could not let Grannys Choco go to waste.

We brought muffins. I know you love them Grandpa. I said smiling. I watched as his face lit up on hearing that. We enjoyed having hot Choco and muffins together. He told us great stories from when he was younger. That was when Xavier decided to turn the topic to me.

Oh Granny, Xander has a little crush now. He said smiling like a Cheshire cat. That pig I decided to also expose him.

So do you dummy. Granny he is in love with Audrey. I said smirking with fulfilment. His face turned beetroot red. I guess that serves you right brother. Grandma and Grandpa both started laughing.

I cant believe you boys are all grown up falling in love and getting crushes. And look at there faces so red like ripe tomatoes. Tell me more about these girls that stole your heart. She said we both gave her a funny look. We ended up talking about Audrey and the new girl.

Aww I can remember when I first meet your granny it was love at first sight, she was crazy in love with me. I cant believe you boys fell first. Grandpa said looking at grandma lovingly.

Granny just smiled and spoke. Oh really, if I remember clearly, you where the crazy in love person. You even stalked me everyday after school. I cant believe these boys are turning out to be just like you.

They both laughed and grandpa finally said. but you loved me and that was the truth. They both hugged each other in the precious moment. I wish I had something like this with someone. A love so pure and clear as day.

Stop rubbing it in our faces that we have no one. it hurts you know? Xavier said. Making them giggle so hard.

Then get a girlfriend dummy. Grandpa said before turning back to his wife. They were so cute.

We stayed for a little while longer before we finally left.
