I walked into the room Tavia was in.

"Hey. I've missed you." I smile, hugging her

"I missed you too, Rora. I'll honor you no matter what happens out there." Tavia smiles

"I know you will. If anything happens to you, I want you to know that I love you so much. You are like my mother. You may not be blood, but we protect each other." I say before hugging her

"I love you too."

I hear a knock and turn to see Bellamy.

"Well I'll see you outside." I wave

"Octavia kom Skaikru, step forward. Accept the signal of your clan and fight with honor as their champion."

I was currently standing in between my guards, watching everything closely.

"Ilian kom Trishanakru. Accept the sigil of your clan and fight with honor as their champion." Gaia says, handing him a necklace

"A battle to the death. Within the walls of Polis. These warriors will fight until only one remains. when that warrior collects all of the sigils from the fallen and delivers them to me, they will be declared the victor. this final champion alone will tell us which clan is meant to survive in the crypt of Bekka Pramheda, and which clans are meant to perish in Praimfaya." Gaia says

"Osir koma op daun bilaik slip daun kom bleirona, ba mafta op Won bilaik hef em op mou beda." Gaia states We honor those who fall by the sword, but follow the One who wields it best.

"Daun bilaik ai." Someone yells from the crowd that would be me.

Luna emerges from the crowd and steps up to Gaia.

"I'm Lina kom Flokru, and I'm the last of my clan." Luna announced

"We know who you are- the Natblita who ran from her conclave." Gaia points out

"I'm not running from this one."

"Accept this sigil, Luna kom Flokru, but with your clan gone, who will you fight for?" Gaia asks

"I fight for no one. I fight for death. When I win, no one will be saved." Luna announced

Well shit.

I entered the throne room and stood next to Gaia to watch the fight.

"Heda, why didn't you just make everyone share the bunker if I may ask?" Gaia questions

"The flame told me, Seda. I think it's because everyone would want this. It would prevent a war from unfolding." I say

Gaia nodded before looking into her binoculars.

I watch Roan fight Gael kom Ingranronakru and smash his head with a hammer. He then starts to fight with Fio kom Trikru. They're using swords and Roan kills him. I put my hand on Gaia's shoulder.

"I'm sorry, Seda." I comfort

She nods before walking inside to put out the candles then comes back outside.

After getting bored of mostly just seeing people walk around, trying to find others, I walk inside and sit on my throne.

I saw Bellamy and Kane walk in. Bellamy looked around the room and had a look on his face

"What's wrong?" I ask

"Echos gone."

I look around and notice too. I didn't even notice her leaving.

Bellamy then left the room and Kane followed after him.

Whatever he's going to do, it's not my problem at this point.

Once Kane came back in, he told me what Bellamy was going to do. I was okay with it but warned him if he gets caught, it would be out of my power to protect Skaikru.

It was now dark, and the doors had opened. Tavia was wet and had bruises and blood covering her body.

She dropped the necklaces on the floor and Gaia picked them up, counting them.

"Octavia kom Skaikru is victorious." Gaia announced

I smile and congratulate her.

"The crypt of the first commander belongs to her people."

"No. I wasn't fighting for Skaikru today. I thought I was fighting for myself, but I know know that's not true either. I was fighting for us all. Skaikru will not take the bunker alone. We will share it equally because we are equal. We are one clan and we will survive Praimfaya together." Octavia reassured

Indra walked up to Tavia and she collapsed in her arms.

"Lincoln would be so proud of you." Indra smiles

"There won't be enough room for all our people." Kane frowns

"It's unity day, Kane. Where's my brother?"

We rush to the temple to see the guards laying on the floor, passed out.

"No, no. Keep everyone out." Gaia orders

"It's locked." Kane said, trying to open the hatch

"Are they dead?" Gaia asks, referring to the guards

"No. They used gas. Like the mountain men." I scoff, picking up a gas can

"Skaikru betrayed us all."
