Earth Skills pt. 2

Aurora's POV

It was morning and I was now with Monty, Clarke, Finn, and Jasper.

"The grounders cauterized the wound. Saved his life." Clarke explained

"Saved his life so they could string him up for live bait. Garden of Eden this ain't." Finn scoffed

"This is infected. He could be septic. Any progress on using the wristbands, Monty?" Clarke sighed

"That would be a firm no."

"Hey. How is he doing?" Wells asked walking in

"How does it look like Wells?" Clarke snapped

After that, I started to tune out and focus on what Monty was doing. Especially when they started to cut off his infected flesh.

"Stop it! You're killing him" Octavia rushed in

"Shes trying to save him." Finn fired back

"She cant." Bellamy said stepping in

"Back off."

I started to feel overstimulated with everyone in one room. Ive been so used to being alone so this is new for me.

I tug on Wells shirt and whisper to him that I'll be outside.

As I'm leaving I can hear Bellamy interrogateing Clarke and Wells asking them why I only talk to them.

If only he knew.

Flashback

"Sadie I have a huge secret that I need to get off my chest..." I said, fumbling with my fingers

"Whats up? You can tell me..."

"I kind of stole some extra rations and ate it because I'm starving... I feel so bad and regret it. Dont tell anyone, ok?" I sigh

Sadie was quiet for a moment

"I- uh I have to go I just remembered my mom wanted me to uh help her with something. Cya." Said said, running off

That's odd...

I shrugged my shoulders and decided to go talk to Wells and Clarke since I knew they were probably playing chess.

"Hey! Can I play after?" I ask, walking up to them

"Hey Aurora sure you can play after I beat Wells." Clarke snickered

We talked for a bit until a guard came in.

Wonder why they're here?

"Aurora Hamilton. You are under arrest for stealing extra rations and will remain in SkyBox until your 18th birthday." A guard says as he handcuffs me.

I look at Clarke and Wells with tears in my eyes.

"Please visit me" I cried

Those were the last words I said out loud before going completely mute.

After a month, I would talk to only Clarke and Wells behind closed doors.

My parents barely visited. I could tell they only came out of obligation.

End of flashback

I was outside getting water when two guys came up to me.

"Mind grabbing us a cup?" One of them asks

I nod and hand them both a cup.

"I noticed I don't know your name and never heard you talk... so what's your name?" The other one said.
