But with Sharkur by your side, all your worries faded out.

...

MEANWHILE IN INAZUMA :

"Things are tense here, I see..."

Ajax frowned, looking around at the many soldiers stationed around the harbor.

He was questioned many times for his reason here, the registry office now well aware that there are 3 Fatui Harbingers in Inazuma, being cautious.

The Fatui really aren't trusted anywhere, are they?

Ajax gave the woman at the desk 3 million mora, the cost of his stay here in Inazuma.

"Y/N must be crazy... coming here with Scaramouche all by herself..."

He shook his head.

After registering his name on Ritou, he returned to his ship.

"Set for Yashiori Island." he told the subordinate.

"At once."

Ajax sat down with a sigh.

"Y/N, Y/N, you little sucker for adventure, I have to chase after you wherever you go like a kid and her father..."

He remembered when you first came to Snezhnaya, and you were so excited you almost forgot he had kidnapped you.

He winced.

He had almost forgotten that awful deed he had committed.

"Dammit, Y/N... even if you say it's okay..."

He looked out the ocean blue, stormy clouds above.

"I could never forgive myself...why did you come back? Why did you come back when the Fatui proved to be nothing but scum? For me? Was it for me?"

He grunted, head in his hands.

"Archons, help me. You're too innocent. I want to remind you of all things beautiful from now on..."

...

"We're here."

The large building towered over you, the kind of place you don't wanna be on a stormy night.

You gave an audible gulp.

"Okay. Doesn't look too pleasant..."

The cold, hard stone bricks shone with the rain that was pouring over you and Sharkur, who took your hand.

"Let's go in before we change our minds."

Sharkur took out his Fatuus badge, and opened the door with it, using the scanner at the entrance.

The factory was designed to double as a warehouse, as well, you seemed to realise, when you walked in.

Boxes after boxes were stacked up, shackled in chains.

"Oh my God...they have whole... whole killing machines inside of there..."

You were transfixed at the sight of the thousands of boxes, one after another.

"Who...just who-"

"Don't ask questions, Y/N." Sharkur said with a grimace. "If you ask any questions, it won't do us any good. You wouldn't like the answer either. It'll just lead you to asking more, and more. Please. For the greater good. Let's finish this and go."

You nodded.

"Fine. We need to get to the factory part of this building to destroy the manufacturing systems."
