Chapter 10

SATOMI's

It has been what? Days? Weeks? I don't know, after the academy ended, I bid goodbye to Kayden and Baekho that I'll be going back to Japan. It was good seeing my friends in Japan after seven months.

The only problem is I'm grounded. My father heard what happened from Shoko during my stays at the academy and he said that it was pretty reckless of me. I admit but I reasoned that it was because Dusik hurt my friend. My father understands but I still need to be punished so I am now grounded

And as of now, I was grounded for two weeks. I just lay on my bed and read some books and somehow it didn't bore me. I am also training myself alone in the room so that I can go on a walk for two hours without being blindfolded

I heard a knock on the door. I stood up from my bed and walk towards it and open it, "dad?"

"Come on, you need to meet our new first-year students"

GAO has some kind of system like in school. Every newly found awakened at the age of 15 will be a first-year student. The previous student here became the teacher who teaches them and my uncle chose to be a teacher instead of the head which is why my father is the head.

Gojo's distant relatives or friends are also part of GAO but didn't choose to teach. They were just around the world handling the other branches or just on a trip and will do their job if called. Some of them were on a long-term job for spying or eliminating an awakener silently.

"In Kyoto or here in Tokyo?"

Yep, there were two 'schools' here in Japan, in Tokyo and Kyoto. Even though we have low students, Tokyo has 8 students, not including the new first years and Kyoto has 7 students, they separated the school for more 'excitement' as the older Gojo's said. 

I haven't understood why because I never became a student in this school and was just personally trained by my father and uncle

"Here in Tokyo"

We were walking for a minute and still not there. The place was surprisingly huge being one of the main offices or branches and being a school. There were also dorms here where a student can live freely.

"I can teleport us where they are," I said to my father who stop on his trail and look back at me

"Why didn't you tell me?" I was shocked at his whining voice

I put a hand on my chest acting like I was hurt by something, "I thought we were just going somewhere near"

My father laugh at how I acted and continue his walk. I followed him with my head tilted to the side, "I also wanted to talk to you"

"About what?"

"Have you met any friend aside from Baekho?"

Remembering the little moments I've spent with them, I smiled, "I've met four people. Jisuk from Shinhwa, Subin from The Union, Doctor Delein's student, Wooin, and Kayden's student Jiwoo" 

"Doctor Delein's student?"

"Yes, he's pretty nice and calm, unlike Jisuk and Wooin who are chaotic!" I explained and walk fast to equal his pace

"But Doctor Delein is cruel" 

"I know but from what I see, Wooin is not like Doctor Delein. If The Union and Shinhwa were hostile with Doctor Delein's student, he shouldn't be in the academy, or Jisuk and Subin won't befriend him" I shrug not looking at my father's reaction

"Hmm," I heard him and waited for his following words, "is he strong?"

"I think so," aside from watching him fight during the sparring match, I haven't seen him use his power once again. I know that he didn't use his full power during that match, "I'm guessing that he use his forty to thirty percent of his ability" my hand was on my chin calculating his power
