Chapter 38

Satomi stirred and sat up from her sleep. Wooin's hand was still on Satomi's shoulder and was surprised when she immediately sat up. Satomi's hand went inside her blindfold and rub her eyes.

The dream she saw.

World Awakeners, along with Frame and Geto

The destroyed Shibuya

The death of most of her acquaintance

The unavailability of some of her acquaintance

Sukuna getting most of his finger

And along those events, she was nowhere to be found. It's like she was just watching everything and not helping them.

"You good?" Wooin asked and rub his thumb on her shoulder to ease her up. Satomi looks in his direction and smile

"Yes, sorry for making you worry" Satomi replied and put her head back on his shoulder, and wrap her arms around his torso

"What a disgusting view" Sucheon tsked and rolled his eyes but everyone ignore him and do their thing. Sucheon is irked at their action but just ignore them

"We still have less than 30 minutes, right?" Wooin whispered at Jisuk who was beside him. Jisuk nodded and got surprised when Wooin stood up

Satomi looked at him confusedly especially when he hold her hand and slightly pulled her up, signaling her to stand up. He's not even looking at her which made her more confused

"Wooin?" Satomi stood up and let Wooin pull her somewhere away from everyone

Kangseok furrowed his eyebrow at that sight, maybe because he's taken the role of babysitter, that's why he's like that. The others ignore them while the two, Jisuk and Soobin, look at each other and smirk

"I wonder what they were going to do," Jisuk said and chuckle playfully

"I guess they will have fun" and the two of them laugh while Jiwoo was looking at them with dotted eyes, the same as the two cats

Satomi sat down on a bed where Wooin brought her as he lock the door and lean on it. She tilted her head in confusion and cross her leg

"Did something happen, dear?" Satomi asked but Wooin just shake his head. Satomi can't think of anything on why Wooin brought her into his room

"Satomi," Wooin called, walking towards her and stopping right in front of her, "can I cuddle you?"

Satomi laughed heartedly and lay on the bed properly before tapping the side of the bed, "Come here, dear"

Wooin lay immediately and hug her. His head was on her chest while her hand was playing with his hair and rubbing his back. Their legs were tangled at each other that bring comfort to them

"I miss you," Wooin whispered on her neck, "I miss this"

Satomi's hug tighten and kiss Wooin's forehead, "me too, dear"

Satomi's fist clenches in anger. She's missing these things because of the demands of some higher-ups. If you'll look into it, Satomi's position is higher than theirs but because of their demands to her father saying that they need Satomi to prove if she fits in that position, they give her multiple missions that tire her. After that, she needed to train so that she can become the strongest among everyone and make them kneel in front of her

'Be reminded that you're a Gojo because you're the strongest, not because you're the strongest because you're a Gojo' might be an egotistic phrase coming from the Gojo's but that's their belief. They are the strongest

But why have they still tied to the higher-ups' demands? That pissed her off more than anyone because she became the victim of that

"I also miss this, dear"

"Then, will you stay with me?"

Satomi flinched and Wooin felt that. His hug tightened knowing her answer based on her reaction. "I'll wait until you can stay with me without any problems"

'Can I even stay after this?'

Everyone was now standing in front of the Head of the Academy. Garis, the Head, was talking about something that Satomi doesn't have an interest in. She's just playing with Wooin's hand as if they're the only one in the room

She didn't even know that the Head asked about her because she was uninterested in this kind of thing and ignore everyone around her.

"What a rude kid"

Everyone sweatdrops at the Head's comment on Satomi and pretends that they didn't know Satomi when she just ignores the head

Satomi didn't even know that the introduction was done, Wooin hold her hand and slightly pulled her to follow them to the room, where everyone is going.

"They're going to do some test to evaluate your skills, so until then, do not cause any trouble" Inhyuk warned while looking at the three troublesome students who were just doing their thing

"Yes sir" everyone answered

"Then we'll go unpack our stuff. You should do it too quietly"

The two left the room, worried that the three troublesome kids will start some things

"I want cake," Satomi announced which made everyone look at her, "do you think they have a cake here?"

Unexpectedly, Kangseok throws a medium size box of chocolate. Subin, who knows the chocolate well, was mouth open while staring at Satomi who immediately eats the chocolate

"What the fuck?" Subin started and pointed at the box of chocolate, "That chocolate was fucking expensive! It is over a million dollars!"

"Million dollars just for a chocolate?!" Jisuk screamed and look at the chocolate that Satomi was eating

Everyone looks at Kangseok with wide eyes, even Wooin.

Kangseok sighed, "Sir Kota, brought the chocolate to me and I was told to give it to Satomi who was nowhere his reach"

"Uncle can't reach me?" Satomi said while chewing the chocolate, "That's weird"

"Why don't we look around" Subin suggested and that's why they were outside and looking around the academy

They were surprised at the scenery around the academy and commented on some things about it, while Satomi was eating the cake she bought in the cafeteria.

The five of them were talking while Satomi was busy eating the cake when she looked to her right, seeing familiar energy coming toward them

"Finally you've arrived. Nice to see you here!" Arthur said while walking towards them with a smile, "Honestly, I wasn't expecting you to come" pertaining to Jiwoo who was talking friendly to Arthur

"Really?"

Satomi just roll her eyes because of the beef between Jisuk and Arthur. She just sighed and poke Jisuk on his back, when he turned around she asks the most unexpected question that everyone can hear from her

"Do you want cake?"

Jisuk nodded his head immediately and show his hand. Satomi smirked and put the plate of the cake on his showed hands and burped, "Go buy your own"
