Luna had awoken several minutes before Anakin decided to rest. Her eyes held dark bags underneath them, and she turned to see Anakin very distressed during his sleep. Padme had been napping as well, so Luna walked over and placed her hand on Anakin's forehead.

"No, no, Mom, no..." He muttered. Luna sighed and shook her head when he started to sweat, so she took her hand and wiped the sweat away. He woke up with a start, and then realized where he was and sighed in relief. His eyes found Luna who stared at him oddly.
Artoo filled up three bowls with mush. Luna made a face at the food but glanced at it anyway.
"What?" Anakin asked. She gave him a look of empathy, and replied, "You seemed to be having a nightmare."
He stared at her as if she knew his secrets, but instead, she held out her hand that had a bowl of mush and bread.
            "Are you hungry?"
Luna asked. Anakin offered a smile and took the bowl from her.
"Thank you." He said quietly.
"We went into lightspeed just a little while ago." Padme informed them, sitting down next to Luna.
Anakin looked into Luna's eyes and said,      "I look forward to seeing Naboo again, I've thought about it every day since I left. It's by far the
           most beautiful place I've ever
            seen..."
Luna shifts in her seat uncomfortably and looked away.
"You were just a little boy then.
            It may not be as you remember it;
            time changes your perception."
Luna's hands shook as she pushed her bowl away from her place at the table. Anakin smirked and said, " I think time has given me much more mature feelings to enhance my perception."
Padme looked between the two with a smile and said, "It must be difficult having sworn your life to the Jedi... not being able to visit the places you
like... or do the things you
like..." She trailed on. Jedi had always fascinated her, but Luna kept her gaze on her lap.
"Or be with the people I love." He replied while looking at Luna. Her eyes glanced up noticing his staring but she quickly looked down and blushed.
"Are you allowed to love? I
thought that was forbidden for a
Jedi." Padme noted. Luna felt the color leave her cheeks and she sat up straighter into the conversation.
            "Attachment is forbidden.
            Possession is forbidden.
            Compassion, which I would define
            as unconditional love, is central
to a Jedi's life, so you might say
we're encouraged to love." Anakin explained. Luna stood up and said, "if you'll excuse me, I'm going to try and sleep a little more."
Padme patted her hand and watched as she went and laid down on the small bed.

All too soon, Luna felt Padme shaking her. She awoke quickly and stretched her arms.
Anakin had already grabbed their bags and Padme helped Luna up. They arrived in front of the courtyard and stepped out of the speeder carrying them.
Anakin glanced at Luna to see the a small piercing on the side of her ear. He wondered how she got that, and if it hurt.
"If I grew up here, I don't think
I'd ever leave." Anakin told them. Luna laughed and shook her head.
"I doubt that."
Padme walked behind them with Artoo who beeped at her in conversation
"No, really. When I started my
training, I was very homesick and
very lonely. This city and my Mom were the only pleasant things I
had to think about... The problem
was, the more I thought about my
Mom, the worse I felt. But I
would feel better if I thought
about the palace - the way it
shimmers in the sunlight - the way
the air always smells of flowers..." He trailed off and stared at Luna. She pretended not to notice and looked at the roses lining the courtyards
"        ...and the soft sound of the
            distant waterfalls. The first
time I saw the Capital, I was very
            young... I'd never seen a
            waterfall before. I though they
            were so beautiful... I never
dreamed one day I'd live in the
palace." Luna finished for him. Anakin smiled at finally getting a few words from her.
"Well, tell me, did you dream of
power and politics when you were
a little girl?" He asked her. Padme watched from behind and smirked.        "No! That was the last thing I
thought of. My dream was to actually be a mother, and have a husband... Padme wanted to help
            in the "Refugee Relief Movement.
She never thought of running for
            elected office. But the more
history she studied, the more she
            realised how much good politicians
could do. So when she was eight,
        She joined the "Apprentice
            Legislators", then later on became
a Senatorial advisor, with such a
passion that, before she knew it, she was elected Queen. Partly because
She scored so high on her education card, as did I." Luna ever knew how to actually talk about herself, she always bragged about Padme, and her achievements.
"I wasn't the
            youngest Queen ever elected, but
now that I think back on it, I'm
not sure I was old enough. I'm not
sure I was ready." Padme told them. Anakin turned and smiled at her.
