Chapter 11- Christmas Suprise Pt.1

"I see y'all got some things to talk about. So we'll just be leaving." Unique smirked at me and Jermia winked before the both of them left.

"We should talk about it later." Princeton said.

"Definitely." I nodded and looked around the room. Everyone was dancing, laughing, talking, and eating.

"I really am glad we got to come see you. Keisha said this is a Christmas gift. This is probably the best one I have ever gotten." Princeton smiled. I looked down and blushed. He pushed my face up gently.

"Don't hide your face. This is my first time really seeing it." He whispered and kissed my cheek. I blushed and looked anywhere but at him to calm my beating heart.

"Sorry to interrupt your love fest going on here," Isis said from behind us. "But Mr. Carter wants MB to perform."

"Oh cool. Alright. Be back." Princeton smiled widely and walked over to Roc, Prodigy, Ray, and Myles by the DJ table. They talked about something for a minute then talked to Walter for another. When they finished talking to Walter, they grabbed four microphones and started talking.

"Hello 8th graders!" Ray shouted. We cheered.

"Since its Christmas we decided to give y'all an amazing gift." Roc said.

"This gift has to stay with us at Behrman. If it gets out, Team Mindlles might trip. So y'all ready to hear what it is?" Princeton asked.

"Yes!" We shouted.

"This is a new single from our album All Around The World. I Lean!" Prodigy sang. We screamed as some music started playing.

I can read her mind and she's about to lose it." The boys sang as we all danced to the song. The boys danced around like idiots.

Brittany, Jari, Isis, and I freestyled as the song played. We did really well to say we never heard the sing before. Towards the end of the song during Roc's part when Soulja Boy cut Roc off, Isis almost had a fit-- along with other Roc fans.

"I can't believe that!" Isis snarled as we danced.

"Calm down." I whispered to her as we finished. "The song is already recorded. We can't change it."

"Okay. Okay." Isis breathed in and out to calm herself. Princeton came over to me swinging his hair back and forth.

I took my hair out of its bun and did the same.

"She like the way I lean." Princeton shouted as I danced on him.

"She like the way we lean. Oh yeah. I lean! Aye! Aye! Watch me do it. Aye! They like the way we lean." The boys sang before the song ended. We cheered as the boys bowed.

We talked and conversated for a few hours until it was time to go. The boys got to meet and talk to all of our friends. They seemed to be enjoying themselves-- acting like normal teens. I'm really glad that they get to act like school kids.

"Alright. Alright. Alright. It's about that time when you should be calling your parents. We about to be out cha for the year. So we about to be second lining." Juno said as she started the second line music.

"How do you second line?" Princeton asked me. I showed him as Isis, Jari, Brittany, and I second lined in a circle. The boys picked up quickly and followed our example.
