Inside of an ODP, Carlos was seen looking at the window staring the lush world below him. Reach, a military fortress that was standing between Earth and it serves as last defense incase the covenant did find the location of Earth.

As he stand there as he ponders his thoughts on 2 decades of war and strife.

Carlos Pov

After the retrieval of the intel which points Arcadia much to the confusion of Anders as she tried to understand the meaning behind it.

Anders requested for Admiral Cole for permission to go in Arcadia to investigate further, Cole granted and task Captain Cutter to take Anders and her team to Arcadia.

While me on the other hand have another job to do patrolling the eastern sector of UNSC space, in which gave me time to read reports what's happening inside the covenant empire.

Nothing much to said what happening rather than propaganda and some sermons from the hierarchs.

So far nothing interest had happen aside from Captain Cutter engaging the flood on a fore runner shield world in which surprise me.

The UNSC didn't encounter the flood until Master Chief found them inside the facility on Halo where Guilty Spark was assign.

In which I sent my actual fleet along with some forerunner AIs to eradicate  the infestation after Captain Cutter evacuates leaves the shield world.

After rescuing Prof. Anders from the clutches of the covenant and destroying what seems to be a forerunner fleet residing on the shield world, after arriving to UNSC space for a long time Captain Cutter receive a promotion of Commander and will recieve a small fleet of his own which he accepted.

During the brutal 2 decades of war Commander Cutter lead the UNSC forces to victory on several conflicts happen on UNSC space.

During those 2 decades the covenant are slowly becoming ferocious and deadly in their attacks than before, spying inside covenant space is also increasingly becoming difficult as the covenant have began encrypting confidential and sensitive data, no doubt the hierarchs notice their losses as the bloody war drags on.

While raw materials and food is not at risk of shortage however replacing personnel takes time to replace the dead as casualties slowly rises up.

Good news is that not all planets are not being glassed and few million are dead mostly from the front lines and raids from the covenant compared to canon where billions are dead.

I can't also stop my burst of laughter as I remember the pathetic attempt of ONI of replicating the Zaku 2 and other arsenals in my army.

Despite my capabilities to shut them up, they still persisted to capture one of my Zaku 2 which ended badly.

They even went to kidnap one of my bots which ended in disaster, I sigh as I shook my head in disappointment. Do they ever learn?

This went on until I receive a message from Margaret Parangosky to meet face to face in digital screen on which I agreed.

On the time of the meeting I can sense the frustration of her in the failures of not gaining anything from me which I smile internally, so far she proposed me again to lead in the Spartan 3 program since technically it was propose by Ackerson in the original timeline.

In which I gratefully accepted with a smile as I turn off the screen I can still felt her cold glaring eyes looking at me, which I roll my eyes before I went on my way.

I collected 3400 orphan children around UNSC space to enter the Spartan program.

Of course I chosed those I see fit and have the potential to become Spartan 3s. Just like the previous Spartans they were trained rigorous, as they grow the training will become more brutal.
