Chapter 24

3 Month's Later

At Chariot/Essex's Carrier

We could see Manjuu's and Bot's preparing an F-14 Tomcat Jet for Essex as she started boarding the jet(The F-14 is grey now with the red lines still on the jet)

As the bot made a hand signal for Essex for the jet to depart, Essex pulls the lever of the jet forward, causing it's engines to roar and depart form the carrier with Essex smiling

As Essex makes her jet fly to the skies she suddenly heard a voice in the radio

"Raven this is Old Salt, do you Copy"

Essex: "Copy you Nimitz"

Nimitz: Do I really have to remind you about the callsign's Raven?

Essex: I wouldn't lose anything  because of that, after all I'm just want to see you reaction

Nimitz: You know Enterprise is right, you are one stubborn shipgirl

Essex: Haha She's not wrong with that, so let's begin

and then Essex finally saw Nimitz's jet which was also an F-14

Nimitz: Oh shit

as Nimitz saw Essex's jet on her radar she made a hard right on her jet so Essex can't hit her with her jets, with Essex smiling and started to follow Nimitz jet

It's been three month's since Enterprise saved Essex from hurting herself even further, due to the injuries that Enterprise sustained, higher ups decided to put her out of duty until an prosthetic arm could be available for Enterprise, Giving Yorktown the position to help Nimitz to lead Azur Lane, With the government not filing any cases against Essex since it was basically there fault why this whole fiasco started at the first place

Meanwhile Essex spends some time with her sisters since she missed them so much, until Yorktown assigned her to train Nimitz on her dogfighting skills, with Nimitz requesting this to since she wanted to learn how to defeat Essex in a dogfight since she is known as the Raven

As Essex keeps her best to get Nimitz's jet, Nimitz continues to make some fast maneuvers to avoid getting hit by Essex, with Essex smiling as Nimitz manages to learn fast from her  

But even thou that happens, Nimitz know that Essex always have a trick on her sleeves and so she decided to make up a trick that would give her a chance to win before Essex could put it to play

As Essex is trying to catch Nimitz's jet, Nimitz jet deployed flares, confusing Essex as there is no enemy aircraft here, causing her to look around, and from there she suddenly realized her mistake causing her to look at where Nimitz's jet was, only for it to be gone and so Essex tries to move her jet sideways but it was to late as Nimitz spoke on the radio

Nimitz: I put you out Essex I win

Essex: Nice trick there, you want to go somewhere Nimitz, my treat

Nimitz: Sorry Essex but I-

Essex: The Bots in my ship already finished the paperwork you need to give to Yorktown, so you can't escape from me Nimitz~

Nimitz: You... Fine

Essex: Then it's a date then

Nimitz: Hey you didn't say it was a date!

Essex: Oh you got embarrassed Nimitz, come on just give me a chance please~

Nimitz: Alright, Alright, I'll return to my carrier then

Essex: Very Well meet me at 5pm at the location I'm going to send you

Nimitz: Okay 

and so they return back to there carriers
