Two days had passed since the showdowns, and the girls were closer than ever. Reyna, Piper, Thalia, Hazel, Bianca, Nico, Jason, and Frank were at the airport waiting by the exit.
A girl with blonde and magenta hair made her way through the airport crowd. All she had was a black backpack and no need to stop by the luggage carousel.
Piper nudged Jason. "There she is!"
"Okay, the first thing we're doing is fixing that hair." Thalia laughed.
"Wait, so you can have colourful weird hair and she can't?" Reyna joked. Everyone dissolved into laughter, but they knew the truth. Annabeth couldn't keep up a rebel look after having prison on her record, even if she wasn't at blame.
"Annabeth! Over here!" Frank called out, putting his arm around a smiling Hazel.
She turned their way and a blinding smile lit up her face. She shrieked and sprinted over to them, gathering them all in a large hug.
"Wait, hold up, Bianca? Okay, you guys have a lot of explaining to do." Annabeth told them and they took turns explaining. After they were done, she had one last question that none of them were prepared for.
"But what happened to Percy?"
