"Sharkur! Gordon!" you heard Scaramouche's stern voice call.
"Gotta go! Catch ya later, my lady!"
He gave you a quick kiss on the cheek as common courtesy and left with his colleague.
You sighed, leaning back in your chair, looking out into the bright blue sea.
...
Your legs felt wobbly as you stepped onto the wooden, caravel-style dock, Inazuma's warm air on your face.
Looking up, you could see the azure sky stretching for miles ahead, the leaves of the Sakura trees blowing in the wind.
"Wow..." you whispered.
You always imagined Inazuma as a dark and gloomy place, but it looked so beautiful.
You look down at yourself, and notice the small communication device and GPS locator that Ajax had lended you.
Sighing a little, you bend down and grab a small stone on the ground.
You then crack the communicator and break it with the stone.
Scaramouche notices this.
"Hm, those communicators are such a waste of the Fatui's time..."
The both of you walk out of the docks.
Scaranouche leans in closer to you so that his voice is nothing more than a whisper in your ear.
"The Traveler is supposedly at the Kamisato Estate as we speak, according to Fatui sources. Do you remember your job...?"
"I have to stalk the Traveler and their Flying Lavender Melon..."
"That's it! Now it may seem boring but before you know it things are going to take a drastic turn..."
Scaramouche slaps down a white envelope with the words "12 MILLION MORA" scrawled in bold black marker on the desk of the security control.
Woah...! You think to yourself.
You've seen Ajax throw around money as if it were grains of sand, but this is something else.
Scaramouche doesn't even look back.
"The Fatui have gained influence over the Tri-Commission. The Yashiro Commission, headed by the Kamisato Clan, the Kanjou Commission, headed by the Hiiragi clan and the Tenryou Commission headed by the Kujou Clan."
This was too much information for you.
You hold your head, looking at Scaramouche a little puzzled.
He sighs.
"It doesn't exactly matter. You just have to remember that there are 3 clans.
"Three clans!"
"Yes. Now, we have gained control over the Tenryou and Kanjou Commissions, and have started a decree, by the name of The Vision Hunt Decree. Basically, because your puny brain wouldn't comprehend it if I explained it to you in terms of Inazuman laws, we demand that each and every Vision wielder hand over their Vision or they will be taken by force."
You felt your heart drop.
"What...?"
"You heard me. The Almighty Raiden Shogun has declared this herself, but with our influence. All the Visions are embossed in her statue."
Scaramouche threw his line of sight towards the statue, nudging you.
You also notice for the first time that despite the gorgeous weather, nobody seems to be out and about except for a few important-looking soldiers.
