Chapter 2 ~ Promise

(Y/n)'s Pov
I was just wandering through Hyrule Field. I don't know where I am, and I don't know where I'm going. I knew that this was going to be a difficult mission. Sometimes, I wonder what this 'demon' would look like. Would he look like those monsters in fairy tales? Would he look like a normal human being? What would his personality be like? Well, he is evil. I saw a nearby lake, so I decided to take a rest. I jumped off (h/n) and sat under a nearby tree. It was so relaxing. As I was just about to close my eyes, I heard a rustle in the bushes. I looked towards it, to see if anyone was there, but nothing was there. I shrugged my shoulder and closed my eyes again. I heard more rustling. The rustling kept on continuing. I stood up and got out my sword. I hesitantly walked towards where the noise came from. When I was there, I was scanning around the bushes with an open eye. But, nothing was there. As I turned around, I was faced with a bunch of bokoblins. 'Just great..' I thought as I got in a fighting position. They all had their clubs in hand, ready to attack. I approached at full speed and swung my sword at one of them, killing it instantly. I killed a few more. One had an arrow and tried to shoot, but I dodged easily since it has such bad aiming. More and more kept coming at me. I killed them in a flash, but more kept coming out. 'Where the hell are they coming from?' I thought. I couldn't do anything since there were so many of them. "Not good.." I mumbled under my breathe. I started getting scared. Me? Scared of bokoblins? No way! "No!" I exclaimed. I clenched my hands into fists. "I won't be scared. I won't. I will remain fearless! Just like I promised my father!!!"I exclaimed. I did a death glare and got my sword ready. "Time to die.."I mumbled. I got in a fighting position and did a full blown attack, killing all of them. Then, they all disappeared. I put my sword away and just stood there, not doing anything. "From now on, I won't be scared. I will be brave and I will have enough courage to kill him!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. "I will kill him....and I will bring hell with me.....that's a promise....father..." I mumbled. I dropped down to my knees. I felt something wet on my cheeks. They were tears. I covered my eyes with my hands and cried. Tears were flooding down my cheeks. "Father...." I mumbled as more tears came.

"Don't cry beautiful.."
