Chapter 6 ~ Attack

You and Link were walking around Hyrule Field, chatting. Mostly, it was about your childhood memories. You were glad Link was always there for you. He was like your big brother. You two were talking some more, until you realized that it was nightout. "Wow, I guess we were too caught up," You said with a slight giggle. "Maybe we should rest," Link suggested. You nodded in agreement and jumped off of (h/n), along with Link. You laid on a patch of grass, under a tree, and looked at the stars that were shining in the night sky. 'I wonder if I'll ever see Dark again..' You thought to yourself. You snapped out of your thoughts when you heard a slight snore coming from behind you. You turned around to find Link already fast asleep. You lightly giggled. Your attention was now drawn to the stars above you. 'They're so beautiful..' You though. You stood up, and swiped away any dirt that was there off your
clothes. You were about to go to your horse, only to find that (he/she) was not there. "What the?" You mumbled. You scanned around your surroundings, hoping to find (h/n), but your horse was nowhere to be seen. You hesitantly decided to search for (him/her), even though it was dark out. You knew if you didn't come back by morning, Link would set out a search for you. You then went out and searched for your horse.

~ Time Skip ~

You have been searching for your horse for hours, but you just couldn't find (him/her). You sighed in defeat, thinking you will never find (him/her). You were about to lay down, until you saw some smoke in the corner of your eye. You furrowed your brows and looked in that direction. A few moments later, the smoke disappeared. And to your surprise, Dark was standing in front of you.........with your horse. "I believe this horse belongs to you (y/n)," He said as he handed you your horses reins. "Yes it is," You said slightly irritated. Dark laughed at your behaviour. "It's not funny!!!" You whined making your cheeks puff out. He stopped laughing and smirked. "You're cute (y/n)," Dark stated. You felt heat rising up to your cheeks and looked away. "S-shut up!!!!" You stuttered. 'Again with the stuttering..' You thought as you mentally face palmed. "I was only stating the truth," He said. "Well, thanks for finding my horse," You said. He smirked. (Me: Oh you gotta love that smirk..) "Whatever," He replied bluntly. You scoffed and starting walking away with your horse, only to run into a ghost like creature that was floating above you. "What the hell??" You just stood there, frozen. You didn't have your weapon with you so you couldn't fight back. The ghost was about swing his lantern to attack you, but it was met with a shield. You widened your eyes in shock. "Poes..." You heard Dark mutter as he was standing in front of you protectively. You watched as Dark fought that one poe, which he easily defeated it. You didn't notice, but there was another poe behind you. Except, this one was bigger! You felt a sharp pain on your head an collapsed to the ground, losing your consciousness. The last thing you heard was Dark shouting your name.
