(Y/n)'s Pov:

*Next Morning*

I woke up to the sun shining brightly down my face. I slowly got up and dragged myself out of bed. I still remember the fight me and Link had. Actually, I will never forget it. I put on some new clothes and exited my house. I just needed some fresh air. I decided to go to castle town today. It wasn't that far from my house, so I decided to just walk there. As I was walking, a group of soldiers on horses came walking towards me. "Excuse me miss?" One of the soldiers asked. I turned around to face them. "Yes?" I hesitantly asked. "We were wondering if you have ever seen this face before." Another soldier said. He then unfolded a paper. It was a wanted poster. The picture was a man, who looked around my age, and who looked a lot like Link. "Who's this?" I asked as I started getting suspicious. The head soldier rolled the paper up and put it away. "He goes by the name of Dark Link. Rumor has it that he's a demon and that he murdered people numerous amounts of time." The soldier replied. I nodded. "Well, I'll let you know if I see him." I said with a smile. He nodded and he started departing further down Hyrule Field with the other soldiers. I was definitely interested in this case. I walked further down the field, in search of the market. I finally made it to the town and started walking around. Music was being played, people were having conversations, children were running around, and animals were wandering around. As I was walking, I thought I saw a shadow flew past me. I shrugged and ignore it, thinking it was the wind. I continued walking until I heard a woman call me. "Excuse me miss, but could you spare any rupees?" I turned around to see a family. They were all wearing clothes with holes on it, it looked like they were starving, and it also looked like they didn't have a home. I smiled as I walked up to them. I grabbed my wallet and got 20 rupees out. I handed it to them with a smile plastered on my face. "Thank you miss. May the three goddesses be with you." The women said with a smile. "And to you as well." I said. I turned around and continued my walking. I had a deep feeling that something wasn't right. Like, something bad is going to happen. I ignored it and kept on walking. "EVERYONE MOVE! GET TO SOMEWHERE SAFE!" A soldier randomly called out. I turned around too see what was happening. My eyes opened wide with the sight in front of me. The castle was in flames, about to burn to a crisp. Everyone screamed and started running to find a place where it's safe. I was desperately trying to figure out who or what started this, until I saw a lost child. He looked like he was lost. I ran to him and picked him up. I could tell he was terrified. He was just crying in my arms. The fire was spreading from the castle to the homes and buildings. 'Who could've started this?' I thought. I found the boys mother and ran up to her. I gave him to her and smiled. She bowed in form of gratitude and quickly ran. I turned around, only to find a man standing on the castles roof. I squinted my eyes, trying to get a better look at him. I could clearly tell that he had a devilish smirk on his face. The flames were getting worse as each second passed by. I hurriedly exited out of the town. A few moments later, the flames were starting to disappear. The fire was now gone......along with the castle and some other parts of town. I frowned deeply at the sight in front of me. There was nothing I could do. "Is everyone alright?" I heard the princess ask. 'At least she cares about the other citizens....' I thought. I walked towards the center of the town. Everyone's eyes and attention were focused on the princess. "We suspect that this is Dark Link's doing. So, we need to find a way to stop him!" The princess exclaimed. "How princess? None of us would be able to stop him! Not even one of our finest soldiers will stop him! He's too powerful!" A soldier exclaimed. I could tell that the princess was thinking deeply about this situation. "I'll stop him." I simply said as I was walked up to her. The princess just stared at me, dumbfounded. "I'll find him and I will kill him." I said with a serious look on my face. "No I'll do it!" I heard Link said. I gave him a glare. "Do you want to live or die?!" I yelled. Link just stood there, speechless. "Give me a weapon and a horse." I commanded. "Are you sure you want to do this?" She asked. "I want to do this for myself.." I replied. She nodded as she ordered her guards to fetch me a horse and a weapon. They came back quickly and handed me a bow and arrow and a sword. They also came back with a horse with a white mane. He was one of the most beautiful horses I've ever seen. "You will leave first thing in the morning..." The princess said with a sad look on her face, but I knew it was fake. "No. I'll leave now." I said as I jumped on the horses back. I pulled on his reins and started departing to Hyrule Field, in search of this demon. I heard people shouting to me, wishing me good luck. I smiled softly at them and started going. This mission is going to be complicated, but I know I will complete it and be successful. I will show the others who I really am.
