So Much and So Little | Chapter 3

Chara POV:

Y/n: Milady, may I have this dance?

Chara: Of course, Sir Y/n.

I gratefully took Sir Y/n's hand as he wore a black suit with a purple bow tie and a black rose in his chest pocket. We walked over to the centre of the room and started to dance slowly as he placed his hand on my hip that was under a green and purple dress.

Chara: You can dance?

Y/n: There's still a lot you have yet to uncover.

Chara: Then I hope I can uncover it all.

We looked at each other as the slow dancing continued and he smiled at me, something that would always make my heart beat fast. I felt many people staring at us, some with jealousy, some with joy, but it didn't matter, as long as I had my knight in shining armour then everything would be ok. The music slowly came to an end, we locked eyes and softly kiss-

*Knock knock knock*

I woke up and found myself in my bed... *sigh* of course it was a dream, he wouldn't ask me to the dance.

"Chara, dear, are you awake?"

Chara: Yes, mom.

"Wonderful! Make sure to be down before breakfast is served."

Chara: Mhm...

"You dreamt about him, didn't you?"

Chara: N-No!

"Chara."

God, I can hear her stern face through the door.

Chara: Yeah...

"May I ask what it was?"

Chara:... We were at the ball... and he asked me to the dance... I accepted... and as he was about to kiss me... until you knocked on the door!

"Oh, I'm sorry for interrupting your fantasy, but it's time you woke up for breakfast."

Chara: Mhm...

"Make sure to wear something nice if you want Sir Y/n to like you."

Chara: I will.

"Good, I trust you not to go back to sleep."

Chara: When have I ever done that?

"You know when you've done that."

Chara: But I had a solid reason!

"Going back to sleep to not go to school isn't a solid reason!"

Chara: It is for me!

"Don't make me come in there!"

Chara: Hmm! Fine!

"Good girl, now, don't be late."

Chara: Mhm.

I heard mom walk away from the door, so I opened the canopy bed curtains and got out of bed. I walked over to the windows and opened them to see the non-existent sun bounce off all the rooftops of the houses underneath. I smiled and walked over to my wardrobe to get changed for the day.

Your POV:

I woke up to the sight of the non-existent sunrays beaming through the white and red curtains that were closed in front of the windows. I tiredly yawned and tiredly rubbed my eyes as I lay in the warm and comfortable bed I had slept in.

*Knock knock knock*

"Sir Y/n, are you awake?"

Y/n: Hm...? Yeah...
