The cookout finally started as everyone was eating and interacting, the uncles and dads surrounded the bbq or in the living room watching football , while the aunties and moms either were inside the kitchen drinking , outside sitting in the chairs gossiping or in the living room with their husbands, the kids were in the pool enjoying themselves while the older cousins had their own little sections

"Mannn I missed hanging with y'all, my little siblings are aggravating" My 16 year old cousin Cian told us as we all laughed

Cian was my dads other sister Cristina daughter

My dads has 2 sisters and 2 brothers so we have a big family. My dad is the baby boy while in order it's Uncle Charles, Aunt Cristina, Auntie Ciara ( Ciana mom) , Uncle Caleb and then my dad who was the baby, I guess my Grandparents wanted to keep the C's in the family

"Oh trust me I feel you I can't wait to go to college" My 17 year old cousin Brit said agreeing with her , my uncle caleb daughter

"Damn I remember being yall age" Ciana said like she was that damn old sounding like shes 30 but really is 22 , I laughed as they all finished gossiping on our family

"Isn't Tay coming?" I asked Ci missing him, hes like my bestfriend plus he's dating my bestfriend who happens to be my cousin so it's a win win

"Yeah, he said he'll be in a few, have you got in contact with Jd?" She asked as I shook my head no , checking my phone again not seeing anything , we haven't talked all day and I was starting to have separation anxiety, this baby was making me emotional over small things

"Maybe he's sleep"

"He better hope he's sleep because if he's ignoring me Ciana i'm going to kill him" I said seriously getting upsetting putting my attention on my brother who was whispering in Lana ear , I hit Ciana to peep what I was peeping and she instantly seen

Drew and Lana been bestfriends for so long I always figured they'd end up together it wasn't rocket science

"Soooooo what y'all over there whispering and blushing about" Ciana messy ass broke their moment cause Lana to blush

"Girl nothing he just getting on my nerves as usual" She said trying to cover up that cute shit

"Mhmm look more like he turning yo ass on if you ask me" I edged it on causing her to turn her head

"Man mind yall business" He said waving us off walking off causing us to laugh hard as hell as she hurried and followed behind him knowing we were gonna question her

"Tay says he outside, you coming?"

I nodded getting up following her through the house hearing loud yelling from the men in the living room , I shook my head

"Alyse! Can you go get that box I put in your room for me please" My mom said stopping me , remembering she put the box of gift bags for the kids in my room early, I nodded changing my destination towards the stairs feeling myself having to pee really bad
