{HEY! I'm back ,back to writing for you lovely people ,and today I bring you my new obsession, the rancher duo my beloved ,I love them ,they are amazing

Also slight warning ,there are some slight spoilers from last sessions , and also Jimmy is slight occ since it's my first time writing for him TwT

Anyway this is short but sweet ,a slight hurt/comfort

Warnings: none ,other then slight mentions of death, slightly rushed due to my first writing in months TwT , also short

Jimmy wakes to sunlight shining through the window, he stretches his wings out careful, as to not disturb the blaze hybrid that was cuddled up against his chest, he looks down as he hears his partner mumble softly, he smiles softly as tango tries to bury himself deeper into his chest, he brings his hand up to the other blondes hair, softly petting him, with each stroke tango hair sparks up with small flames, it was not enough to hurt jimmy but it was bright enough to be seen, the avians smile brightens as he could distinctly hear his partner purr, he knew Tango would be embarrassed by the fact he was purring and would deny it if it was ever brought up, wrapping his wings around his partner, he lets out a happy sigh.

Tango groans as he opens his eyes, looking up at his partner he smiles softly.

"Mornin "

Jimmy hums as he places a soft kiss upon , whispering a soft

" afternoon"

Tango purrs louder as he nuzzles into Jimmy

"Mhm, it seems we overslept huh?"

" yeah, we both had a long day yesterday" Jimmy replied softly

Tango nods as he looks at his hands a grim look passes over his face as he looks at the faded burn marks, despite not being affected by fire , his soulmate wasn't as lucky , he knew he hurt Jimmy in his anger , and he's been trying to make it up to him, even though he knows Jimmy wasn't angry, it still doesn't stop the guilt though, the guilt worsens as he looks at the red heart on his wrist that link them together, a reminder of what happened , a death that was unfair

"Hey , now , none of that" Jimmy spoke softly, bringing Tango out of his self deprecating thoughts

Raising his head , and looking into Jimmy's eyes, he can feel his heart calm slightly

"Sorry" tango mumbles burying his back into Jimmy's chest

"There's no need to apologise hun, no matter what, i know you feel guilty but it isn't your fault, we may be red now, but at least we can bring more chaos, i'm just happy we've survived this far, and hey we weren't even the first reds!"

"Thats true...im proud of us , im proud of you"

Jimmy beams at that nodding happily, tightening his hold around Tango, peppering kisses all over the top of Tango head, making the blaze hybrid laugh.

"Now rest up hun, we might as well sleep the day away, and tomorrow we can get our revenge! "

Tango hums softly

" alr, it'll be a long day gathering wardens"

"Exactly! Now sleep hun, it'll be okay , i'll protect you! I love you" Jimmy mumbles the last part softly

Tango purrs even louder at that, cheeks heating up ,

"Love you too "

Both of them spend most of the day and night laying in each other arms, most of the time was spent cuddling, they talked through the night, they also shared kisses in between, they were just happy to spend the day together, any moment they could die , so these happy moments were cherished , at first they may of not liked the ideas of sharing a life with another person, but now it was different, slowly they fell in love, finally jimmy had someone who truly appreciate himself and Tango finally had someone who was able to calm him down, someone who'd always be on his side, someone who would never betray him...they both found someone they could truly love.
