The house was full of tension.
"Betty do you want any water or more pillows?" Sp asked.
"No I'm okay, just come over here." I said.
He quickly rushed towards me, holding me on his chest.
"Hey Cooper! You feeling better?" Fp asked walking in.
"Not really." I said weakly.
"Here's some more meds. I'm gonna go get your other oxygen tank and some bandages." Mom said, putting pills in my hand.
"Thanks mom."
"Malachai is gonna pay." Jug said.
"Jug calm down, I'm fine we'll get Malachai later." I lean up from sp.
"The serpents as you know are always going to protect you, you are family." Fp said.
"I know I trust my family."
"I'm gonna go talk to some of the serpents outside, I'll be right back." Sp started getting up.
Leaning down to kiss me gently.
"Be careful." I whisper.
"Jughead will you help me bring Betty upstairs to her room?" Mom asked.
"I don't want to go to my room, I don't want to go to bed." I moved away.
"You can't just stay here and stay awake all night you need rest." Mom said.
"I'll go up myself then." I struggled to get up.
"You know you can't do that." She said.
They quickly grabbed me and brought me up the stairs.
My mom went to Toni who was watching me.
"Toni you should go to bed too." Mom said.
"I don't--" She was going to say before being interrupted.
"ANTIONETTE GO TO YOUR ROOM NOW please." She yelled.
"Okay mom stop worrying." She left.
