It was a little past 5 o'clock in the morning when Mark started to stir from his sleep.
The light of the sunrise streaming through the little gaps of his curtains had awoken him from his peaceful sleep.
It took a few seconds for his eyes to fall on his phone that was resting just where he left it.
A smile made its way to his face when his eyes fell on the girl sleeping on the other side of the call.
Her long hair were messily framing her face, her lips a little jutted out whenever she was deep in sleep. Her hands were hugging tightly the panda plushie she can't seem to fall asleep without.
Unknown to even himself, a smile of adoration curved on his face.
He wasn't expecting to fall asleep, seeing how difficult it has been for him to fall asleep for the past few nights. But to both of their surprise, he had fallen asleep way sooner than they thought he would.
"Sleep well, Jinnie." He whispered, the warmest smile still on his face before he ended their call.
