Steve and Eddie saw the girls laughing, they started to laugh too, even though they had no idea what they we're laughing at. After a while it became dark Steve yawned and Eddie too. They said that they were gonna head home.
"I can drive you all" Eddie said
They all agreeed. Robin sat in the passagerseat. Steve and Nancy jumped in the back of the car and Eddie started to drive. Steve looked at Nancy
"Nancy! god you're eyes are so red!" He giggled
"Are they!?" She asked anxiously
"Let me see" Robin turned her head around and looked "oh shit they really are!" She laughed
"Oh no my mom is going to kill me!" Her heart started to pound violently
All four of them started to talk about how to help Nancy. After a while of talking Eddie said
"Can't she just sleep over at your place rob?"
Robin got cherry red in her face.
"uhm yeah I mean why not ?" She tried to play it cool but heard how shaky her voice sounded.
"Are you sure it's okey" Nancy asked
"YES YES ITS SO MORE THEN JUST OKEY !" Robin thought but she instead said
"Yeah sure why not? It will be fun! "
Then Robin remembered how her house looked and mabye Nancy would get so disgusted by it, but now she had already agreed and it was no turning back.
They finally arrived at Robin's house. Robin and Nancy got out of the car and Steve jumped in the passenger seat. The boys wished them a good night and the girls began to walk up the small path that led up to Robin's house. She felt so embarrassed about having Nancy over at her place because she was sure that Nancy had never seen a more broken house then hers. They came in the door and Robin yelled
"Mom !"
No response
"I think we're home alone" Robin said and took a pack of cigarettes from the hall table
"Can I just use your phone real quick I have to call my parents" Nancy asked
Robin showed her the way to her room. Nancy stumbled into her room and picked up the phone and dialed the number. After she had spoken to her dad she saw Robin laying down in the bed, Nancy layed down as well and they looked at each other and laughed. Nancy played with Robin's hair and looked into her big baby blue eyes.
"What did you want to ask me" Robin giggled
"What do you mean?" Nancy giggled back
"You know before, when Eddie and Steve interrupted us" Robin said
Nancy sighed and felt like now was her chance to ask Robin even though they had been making out, she wanted a clear answer.
"I just wondered if you- like girls" Nancy whispered, even though no one could here them
Robin turned and looked up in the ceiling and took a deep breath "Yeah I do"
