Kamari groaned, wiping her cheek, where her mother had previously kissed, and grabbed onto the handle of her suitcase. "Mum, I won't be gone for long." She whined, pulling her mum into a short, warming hug.
As she pulled away, her sister, Tiana, ran up to her and tackled her into another hug. "I can't believe you're going on Love Island," she squealed, throwing her arms around Kamari's waist.
"Okay, okay," Kamari chuckled, prying her sister's arms off of her and wrapping her hand around the handle of her suitcase. "I should go." She waved to her family once more and turned around, ready to board her flight.
This was it, Kamari was going to Spain. When Kamari thought about going to Spain, she always imagined that she would go for a short-lived holiday, but certainly not because she was going on Love Island.
After she had located her seat and sat down, she opened up her phone to check her messages, her eyes widening at the amount of notifications she had.
