I sat in fetal position on my bed while those words broadcasted in my head. My mind was racing 10 thousand miles a minute. I came home to a note my mom left saying that she was staying with her new boyfriend for a couple of days.

I couldn't stop thinking about Nate. What he said, how he hugged me,and how his golden brown eyes would make me melt. I didn't know whether to call or to just let it air out. So I called my Lifeline, She had always been my voice of reason.

"Girl what. Just out of nowhere" Maliyah halfway shouted

"Yess he just said it then we kissed" I responded

" Finally. So are yall like together now. " She said

"Now that I'm not sure of yet. We need to talk" I said while scratching my leg

"But what's going on with you, Ugly" I said

"Well I'm in Deions room and he's taking a shower. I spent the night" She said

My Jaw Dropped

"Soo is the pack still in affect" I said already knowing the answer

"I'm Sorry but no" She said

"It's cool. I kinda figured that" I said while scratching my head

"But I think you and Nate really just need to talk and figure where you go from here. He's thinking about you the same way your thinking about him." She said

"Yaa your right, Well I'll Talk to you later" I said before saying my goodbyes and getting off of the phone

I laid back on my bed, I kept Replaying our kiss in my head. His fingers caressing my warm soft skin, and the feeling that I was totally and completely loved like never before.

But I still feel like we need to talk more about our relationship whether that being romantic or not. I mean we have been friends for a minute and I would hate for like feelings to ruin the great friendship we've built .

I picked up my phone to text him and as I clicked his name, His incoming call came in.

"Hello" I said apprehensive

"Hheyy, Tiff" Nate said nervously

"What's up" I said while pushing my hair to the back of my head

"Umm nothing just umm can we meet up somewhere" He asked

"Yaa Sure. Just come to the playground by my house. My mom's not home ." I said while standing and walking to my Dresser

"OK so like thirty minutes" He said

"Yaa see you in Thirty" I said before hanging up.

I immediately dropped my phone on my bed and ran into the bathroom. I had to quickly clean up before getting cute.

Bae's coming to see --- I mean Nate's coming to see me

Maliyah POV

I walked hand and hand with my soulmate all the way to my house. Most of the walk was just me staring at him like "That's all me right there"

When we got to my doorstep he faced me while I looked up in his hazel eyes.

"So will I see you later on." He said while licking his lips

"I hope so" I said slowly while biting down on my bottom lip

We kissed once again before I walked in the house. As soon as I turned around , Jhazel was standing there with her hands on her hips.
