The wind blows her hair around
covering her face
The clouds shielding the sun
create a shadow of features
Do you see her?
In a crowded room
he stands against the wall, invisible to all
He’s the lone boy
walking past you in the hall
Don’t you see him?
Their light blinds you
clearing your thoughts
making you see for once
the emotions they are hiding
Surely, you see them now?
They’re the unseen sun
behind the clouds, on a rainy day
They’re the sun that gives the moon,
its shine at night
Now you see them, don’t you?
