She's just a Porcelain Doll
Don't break her.
Sighing and alone
she lays against the Wall
The smile carved into her face
remains permanent
even as she wails and cries inside,
Staying quiet for her own sake
She's found by an old friend
who came and left
never caring much for her in the beginning
but now he wants her again
He acts as if he likes her
giving her compliments
making her think she does
but they both know it's pretend
What can she do but,
give him what he wants
that beautiful Porcelain smile
is a curse that's staying put
