Shake-A-Way

Trust me. There is a fricken CRAZY twist in this one.

We walked to Shake-A-Way, and were just about to walk in when 2 teenage girl stopped us. 

"Oh my gosh! You're Dan and Phil! Can we get a picture!?" The girls asked. "Here kids, why not just wait over here." I started to tell the kids to go inside and wait, when they stopped me. "No! We want them in it too!" The girls squealed. I looked to Phil, who nodded his head.

We all went into the picture. 

Did I forget to mention, we got married about a month after we got together? 

Yeah, and after that we went to the doctors, asked if there were any PLACENTAS for rental, and here we are! 3 children, and an awesome life. Well, as awesome as it can be when you're still making videos on YouTube for your living.

We took a picture with the girls, and smiled at them. They waved, and walked away. We went into Shake-A-Way, and the kids ran to the counter. "Ummm... I want chocolate..." Victor said. Phil laughed, and walked to the front. He picked up Maddie with his right arm, and poked her nose with his left.

"What do you want, sweetie?" He asked her. The girl behind the counter smiled at them. 

"I want ice cweam!" Maddie said to Phil, poking him back.

I laughed and walked to the counter.

~The Next Day~

Dan's POV

I woke up the next morning and smiled again. 

Maddie ran into the room and laughed, jumping onto my bed. "Snow day!" She yelled to me. Maddie had just started school, only to find that she hated it. 

I looked out the window, for show, of course, I knew perfectly well that today was the first day of Summer. 

"Hmm... Well, that's too bad! I guess we'll have to drive through it to get you to your education!" I told her. She frowned, and stuck her tongue out. 

Before she could pull it back in, I grabbed it. 

"Brush your teeth, and get daddy to make you some breakfast." I told her, letting go of her tongue. She shook her head, and laughed.

"Okay, I guess the monster is going to have to- RAWR!" I yelled, jumping out of bed. She screamed and ran out of the room.

A minute later, Phil came in with Maddie over his shoulder. Phil looked at me, sternly. "You're awful, you know that?" He said, but I could tell he was joking. I stuck my tongue out at him, and he just laughed, turning and walking out of the room.

Not before I saw Maddie with her tongue out, trying not to laugh at me getting told off.

I got up, laughing, and went to get the mail. 

I left the house, and got our mail.

I walked inside, and saw that Phil had left with a note.

"Hey, honey. I'm bringing the kids to school. Be back in a bit! Love you. -Phil." I smiled, and set down the note.

I made myself a cup of coffee, and walked to the Living Room. I sat down on the couch, and looked through the mail.

I gasped, and dropped the mail, spilling scalding hot coffee all over me. Tears streaming down my face.

I tried to shake it off, but all I could see was the words,

"Due to recent complaints about the safety of your children, and their religious views, Social Workers will be taking all three of your children, Victor, Ronald, and Madeline Lester, away." 

Along with a picture.

Of 2 teenage girls, 2 adult men, and 3 children that happened to be my own.
