It was late in the afternoon when Hunter finished his story and apparently the Research Base was finally rigged with balloons because a sudden jolt went through the Base items fell off shelves and a lantern fell of but not your basic lantern it had no flame and it had light blue energy instead with a gold top and gold handle with a red and blue feather and of course it was Hunter's.
Y'know I'm starting to think there is more to this guy than we think but that doesn't matter, not when the airship flew into the air! "Guys look!" Buzz exclaimed while looking out the window "WOOHOO! We're in the air! THIS IS AMAZING!" Hunter shouted, "Have you been in an airship before?" Buzz asked, "No." Hunter said, I didn't care, there is a secret I have to tell them, "I'm scared of heights." I squeaked, Hunter looked at me "Seriously." Hunter said with a tone in his voice that said "Why didn't you tell us before?" That's when Emily rushed down the stairs to see us staring out the window like idiots, "Uh, guys we'll be arriving soon. Oh, and Gamer here!" She told us before tossing me a sword small enough to rest on my shoulder but big enough to be classified as a sword and not a knife "Thanks!" I yell after her as Hunter prepares by getting traps, healing items, a strange gem which he puts on his sword, and of course his sword which I'm still trying to figure out what monster material it's made out of.
Chip, who finally got here, got his shield, sword, and the vigorwasp summoning thing. "Alright everyone ready?" Fall asked, "Yes." Everyone said and with that we were on the ship's anchor with supplies to make a camp "Uh guys..." I said pointing my paw towards some, snakes with legs, "Oh hey, Girros and a Great Girros!" Nessie exclaimed "Really? I mean they look like snakes with legs." I said "I mean they do!" I exclaimed "Let's feast." The Great Girros said while it began eating the corpse of a Tzitzit ya-ku, and the Girros began eating the smaller limbs.
All of us stared in curiosity and disgust as they ate it, when they were done there was nothing left except some bones "Geez." I said "Let's be lucky that wasn't one of us." Buzz said while everyone nodded in agreement "Ok, how are we gonna- HUNTER!" Emily was starting to say before Hunter jumped down landing on the Great Girros "YEEHAW PARTNERS!" Hunter exclaimed, no one knew what he meant but they thought it was some sort of thing that he made up "GET OFF!" The Great Girros yelled in anger "Ok, but under one condition!" Hunter told it "ANYTHING!" It exclaimed as Hunter prepared his sword for unsheathing it "Don't come near here again!" Hunter yelled at it "I swear! Besides, we were just coming here to eat!" It exclaimed, "Good." Hunter said as he jumped off and the Girros retreated to the lower levels of the Rotten Vale.
"Geez, never yelled that much in my life." He said "Hey, at least they're not coming back anytime soon." Emily said while patting Hunter on the back "Thanks, I suppose." He said "L-little h-help o-over h-here?" I stuttered as I was trying to keep my balance while holding wooden beams on my back "Oh right sorry!" Emily exclaimed as she helped me while Hunter helped pitch the tent.
