The bus finally came and I walked all way to the back seat.

I could feel people's eyes looking at me. I wondered what they were thinking.

I plopped my stuff down on the bus floor, and plugged my headphones into my iPod.

Before I knew it, we were at school.

I hopped off the bus and walked to the front doors of the giant middle school.

Time to go to my first bell class, which is English. I didn't have to think about where to go, since I knew the routine by heart.

Once I got to my classroom, various people ran up to me and asked where I had been.

I internally smiled. If they didn't know, this means my teachers hadn't told them. I was thankful for that.

"I was sick," I said, brushing them off.

"For two months!?" Lexi, the most annoying girl in school asked.

"Yes!" I said, "Now leave me alone."

I walked to my regular seat towards the back wall and pulled out my notebook and a pencil.

I drew doodles of Clara, and her favorite animals, cats. I smiled to myself, but tried hard not to cry about it.

My teacher, Mrs. Cook, came into the room and gave me a sad smile.

"Welcome back, Chloe." she said.

I half-smiled back and waved.

I could tell this would be a long week.
