3 months later/ 2nd person POV

Not much has happened in those 3 months. Everything was still the same. You woke up, went to College and had shift after that. Sometimes you also spent some time with your friends. Kai, Mina and Lisa. Your 1st semester was almost done, which meant all your exams were going to be soon. You sighed as you sipped on your warm cocoa.

You were sitting in a Café while working on a new project. The new project included graphic design, which wasn't your strongest subject, but it wasn't as bad as it seemed because Kai was always there to help you. Has your friendship with Kai became stronger? Definitely. Have you learned more about his past? Nope. But you didn't mind at all because you were ready to wait until he would be ready.

Could you enter your dream world? Not at all. It was really weird because this has happened never before. You always entered your dream world whenever you felt like it, but you just couldn't anymore. What if you can't enter it ever again? You shook your head at this thought and continued with searching reasons. What if there needs to be done something first before I can enter? You shook your head once again. What a dumb thought. What should be done first? You're the only one who has a dream world, after all. Or maybe there is someone?

You were actually waiting for Lisa and Mina since you three decided to meet up at the café and just talk, but they were late, so that's why you were working on your project. You looked outside and noticed the snow dancing in the light, a choreographed ballet conducted by the gentle wind. As you were watching, your eyes grew that tiny bit wider when you saw the street had become as a fresh new page awaiting you later on.

Snow has a way of settling the erratic fires within and yet left your hearth flames so healthy and bright. The winter is such crystalline joy, those brilliant rays that show the uniqueness of every snowflake. It is the time of puddles that become transient skating rinks, and for your thoughts to remain cozy within a woolen hat.

It is the time when the sunniest of days are warm even in, when you can see your breath rise as neat and pure vapor. It is the days of quiet poetry forming in your soul, as if it calls to the spring flowers that will soon blossom. You remember your mother telling you: "If winter comes, can spring be far behind?" As a kid, you never liked winter because it was cold and long, but after your mother told you this, you started to see it differently.

You were even happy when the cold days came because you knew, not too long later, spring would come and that was always your motivation. From far behind, you noticed Lisa and Mina running. Mina was waving and Lisa was dragging her behind. You laughed at the scene and shook your head. Oh, what funny friends you had.

"Oh my, we're so sorry for being this late, Rei! We really didn't mean to! Please accept our apology." Mina ran up to you and kneeled down while begging for forgiveness. You pulled her up and looked around, seeing that other people were all staring at you two. "It is okay. Really. I just used the time to work on the project, so it wasn't that bad." you calmed her down and offered her a seat.

Lisa also came after a minute while panting hard. "Yah! First I needed to drag you and at the very last steps you started running!" Lisa bent over and placed her hands on her knees to get finally some air. "Do you know what hell of a ride that was for me!" she said dramatically as she also sat down. "Why were you late at first place?" you asked with a laugh, wanting to know the whole story behind it.

"You know your oh so nice friend right here, saw a cat in the middle of the streets and started to chase her behind. The cat was scared, so she ran away, but Mina didn't give up and kept running." Lisa shook her head disappointed while Mina was shrugging her shoulders innocently. "But she was so cute! I couldn't leave her alone in the cold."
