I hesitantly walk off Noah's front porch. Her mom is still staring at me. It's actually really scary. I sprint back to my house and go up to my room. God, that was so awkward.
I'm pretty sure my mom has been asleep this whole time. I hope she didn't realize I was gone.
I lay in the dark, thinking about Noah. I hope she's okay. Maybe I should text her. It's been like 10 minutes. She's probably still awake. But what if her mom took away her phone and then reads the text and thinks were dating or something? I wonder if she likes me. She probably doesn't. She's so pretty and sweet, and...she could definitely get someone better than me.
I sigh and grab my phone. I'm just gonna text her.

I end the call and stare at my phone. HoLy ShIt sHe SaId ShE lOvEs Me!! And I just hung up. I mentally facepalm. I'm so stupid!! Ugh, she probably meant as a friend. God, I'm such an idiot!
