Furious with everything, Aditya entered his room followed by Aparna. Noticing his mother he starts ranting - "Aaj itna sab hone ke baad bhi aap Imlie ke paksh mein bol aaye hai. Aapko pata bhi aaj aap ki pyari Imlie ne kya kiya. Aaj ussne mujhe..."
(After all that have happened today, how can you come here to advocate for her? Do you even know what she did today? She...)

"Thappad mara, jo mujhe uss din marna chahiye tha jis din mujhe pata chala tha ke tune Imlie se shadhi karne ke bawajud Malini se usske samne shadhi ki, aur hum sab se chupai"
(Slapped you. Yeah I know. But it should have been me. I should have slapped you on the day we got to know the reality of you and Imlie and how even after being married, you went ahead and married Malini)

Seeing her son's shocked look she continued - "Maine aaj subha tujhe boli thi - agar tu Imlie ko abhi iss ghar mein nahi lana chahta toh maat la, par Malini se shadhi maat kar. Aab mein tujhe bol rahi hoon ki eisa bikul maat karna, tu Malini se shaadi karega ki nahi yeh tera decision hai, paar Imlie ko iss ghar mein tujhe laane ki koi zarurat nahi. Yeh ghar sirf tera nahi hai, aur wo teri biwi nahi hai. Wo meri Beti hai, agar mujhe usse, ya usse mujhse milna k maan kare toh humlog milenge, jahan chah hai wahan milenge, tu ek Maa ko aapne Beti ko milne se nahi rokh sakhta."
(I requested you this morning not to marry Malini, even if you aren't ready to bring back Imlie. But right now I am instructing you not to obey any of those words. Your decision in regards to yours and Malini's upcoming marriage should only be yours. But you aren't obliged in any way to bring Imlie back, as neither this house is yours, nor is she your wife, she is my daughter, and if I want to meet her or vice-versa; then we will meet wherever and whenever we feel like. You can't stop a mother from meeting her daughter)

"Aap usske bare mein kaise soch sakhte hai. Mera aur Malini ka kya. Aap ko nahi lagta aap usske khatir bohot zyada care kar rahi hai".
(How can you only think about her? What about me and Malini? Don't you think you're caring for her too much?)

"Aaj tak maine uske liya kiya hi kya hai. Paar aab karna hai - tune Imlie se saare rishte tor diya, toh ek baat aapne dimag mein bhi bithale, tune jis din usse divorce diya tha ussi din tune usse sawal karne ka saara haaq, kho diya tha. Aaj wo kuch bhi kapda phene, kuch bhi kaare, kahin bhi rahe, kisike saath koi bhi rishta joore - tera uss mein bolne ka, sawal karne ka koi bhi haaq nahi. Aaj tune Aryan aur Imlie se jis tarah pesh aya, mujhe usske baad, khudko tera Maa bolne mei sharam araha hai''
(Till now I haven't done anything for her, but now I want to. You have cut all ties with her, so, get this in your thick skull, that day you divorced her that very day you lost all your rights on her. Now you have no rights to question. You have no rights to question her outfits, to know where she lives, how she lives, with whom she lives, who her friends are. Moreover I am so ashamed that I'm your mother, after you showcased such disgusting behaviour towards Aryan-Imlie)

"Aap ko sirf mera sawal dikha uun dono ka sharam-nak harkate nahi dikha"
(You only saw my behaviour as disgusting, but what about their shameless acts. Didn't you see those)

"Adi, mujhe aaj bohot kuch dikha, aaj pheli baar mujhe Imlie ko khud ke liya khara hote huye dekha, ussko khud liye khara hote huya dekh ke Aryan ko usske liya garv mehsoo karte huye dekha, paar phir uske liye larte huya dekha. Yeh bhi dekha ke Imlie sach mein Rathore parivar ka hissa ban chuki hai, aur yeh bhi dekha ki kaise rishta jorne ke liya usse ek naam k bandhan mein bandhna zaroori nahi. Aaj yeh jana ki kaise kisika saath dene ke liye yeh ussko sathi banane ke liya usse koi kanuni ya samajik rishte mein bandhna zaroori nahi hai."
(Adi, I have seen many things today. For the first time I have seen Imlie taking a stand for herself. I have seen pride in Aryan's eyes when she took a stand for herself, yet he stood by her, fought her. I have seen the Rathore's embracing Imlie as their own. I have how with any obligation a relationship a bond can be formed and maintained, how you can support anyone without any chains of legal or social force, how you can be someone's partner without any force binding you together)
