Haechan took a leisurely stroll through his neighborhood, the clock ticking past 9 pm casting a serene dusk. Sharing this nighttime escapade with Johnny would likely lead to an exaggerated reaction, Haechan mused. Lost in his thoughts, he suddenly spotted a pint-sized white dog that stood out against the dark backdrop.

Approaching the dog cautiously, Haechan found it to be friendly, its tail swishing in a carefree rhythm. No owner was in sight, prompting Haechan to decide to take the dog home. But first, a quick pit stop at the corner store seemed like a good idea.

Walking into the store, Haechan was taken aback as he saw Mark manning the counter. A chuckle escaped him, breaking the ice, "Oh wow, now we've both seen each other work."

Mark's response was tinged with self-deprecating humor, "Yeah, it's the only job I've been able to keep." His attention shifted swiftly to the furry bundle nestled in Haechan's arms – the white dog. The dog's innocent demeanor melted Mark's heart.

Haechan gave context, "I just found him around, no collar."

Mark's eyes softened as he gazed at the dog, "Aww, he's so cute. What are you gonna name him?"

A mischievous grin played on Haechan's lips, "Cheddar."

Laughter erupted from Mark, the name evoking thoughts of cheese. Amidst the tranquil late evening, this simple interaction etched a serendipitous memory for both of them.
