and just like other cliche stories, you guys were dating it secret. you didnt want to make it public yet because you don't know how the reactions will be.
you were on a school trip and you were all in your groups. it was you, y/p, another girl and another guy. the other girl has been all over y/p, if its not touching his hands, it's laughing loudly at a comment he made. it wasn't even funny. and she couldn't even get the hint when he keeps moving away.
"i'm going to get coffee, do you guys want anything?" you asked the group.
"i'll go with you," y/p said.
"oh wait, you can't. i need to talk to you about something. r/b can help her." t/g said while giving you a snarky smile.
you rolled your eyes and just went ahead to get everyone coffee. as you were waiting for your order, you hid behind the wall to eavesdrop on what they were talking about.

it was hard to hear but you know what's happening. she is confessing her love to y/p. and for a moment, you felt anxious because just like him, she was quite popular with the people too.
you didn't even realise he saw you and was looking back at you. he can see the look on your face and he is not liking it.
you walked out with the coffee in each hand while r/b carried the other two.
y/p walked up to you and took one of the coffees from your hand. and in one swift moment, he went to hold your hand.
