Wanda stared blankly at the Black Widow, trying to process what she was seeing. It wasn't surprising that there would be a Natasha in this universe, as it looked somewhat like New York City. With a flick of her wrist, Natasha threw 3 knives at her, one grazing Wanda's cheek. Throw out of her stupor, she quickly surrounded Natasha with crimson energy, immobilizing her. As Wanda looked at her closely, she realized Natasha was crying. She whispered,

"It can't be you. It just can't. Everyone was dead. Gone. Especially you." Wanda narrowed her eyes and said,

"What do you mean gone? How did this happen? Why does the city look like one of Strange's magic tricks?" At the mention of Dr. Strange, Natasha flinched. Suddenly realizing how imposing she looked, Wanda said,

"I'll let you go if you promise to not throw knives at me again. Deal?" The Black Widow slowly nodded her head and Wanda let the both of them back on the ground. Out of all of the Avengers, Wanda had enjoyed the company of Natasha Romanoff the most, always enjoying their playful banter and shared traumatic history. Wanda slowly repeated her question to Romanoff, who was staring at the ground.

"What happened here, Nat? Where did everyone go? Wanda elected to use the nickname she had given her Black Widow, and it seemed to work. She looked up and spoke softly.

"Dr. Strange had been dream walking in our universe for little over a year when the first signs appeared. People started to go missing at a high rate, and peculiar things began to happen with physics. At first, we thought it was a threat from space, trying to take over the planet, but next Strange dream walked, and we knew. As soon as he took over our Strange, something went wrong. The entire world began to crumble. We all were so confused." At this point, Natasha is close to tears. Going against her better judgment, Wanda wraps her arm around Nat. Nat leans into her and she continues her story.

"Cars started to fall from the sky, buildings began to dissolve, and worst of all, people started to get torn apart. I saw Tony get ripped limb from limb and disappear into thin air. You. I saw you screaming in pain as your energy overflowed from you and you exploded." A crease was starting to form on Wanda's forehead. Was this the incursion the walls spoke of? The combining of two universes? Wanda turned her attention back to Natasha and asked,

"How are you alive then?" Romanoff closed her eyes and spoke again.

"Dr. Strange saw the havoc and must have concluded that he was the cause. At that point, so much damage had been done. He cast a spell over me and ended his dream walk. Dr. Strange in my universe exploded and I was the only one left. For a while, things still fell out of the air and clipped through the ground, but then it was just me. There's no sound here Wanda. It's just me and these damned crows." Wanda was beginning to feel something that she wasn't used to these days. Sympathy. Ever since she had taken the Darkhold, all her focus had been getting back to her kids. But now feeling Nat practically clinging to her, the corruption from the Darkhold was starting to fall away.
