Mei's POV:

Now it's my turn to be caught off guard. It's like my tounge is tied.

Mei: W-well to be honest. I've seen you in a different perspective, but I'm not sure about my feelings

Miriam: Oh...

Mei: I mean I think your may gay awakening.

I say while fiddling with my hands.

Miriam: If your not ready about your feelings th-

Mei: I do like you. I think I've always liked you and I knew I liked you and having such a big crush on Robaire was like a way to degay me. Cause how would my parents act on this?And I just felt-

Then I stop speaking.

Miriam is just standing there.

Did I say something wrong?
Does she not like me anymore?
Does she not even wanna be friends anymore?

Then I felt an embrace around me. In the tightest hug I've ever felt.

I open my eyes and see red hair and a beanie in my eyesight.

Miriam: Oh my gosh! Thank goodness! I was so scared that you didn't like me back. And I thought our friendship would be ruined. Oh my gosh! I'm so grateful!

I'm so shocked by her outburst.

I finally melt into her embrace, then someone just had to ruin the moment.

"Holy fuck nuggets!"
