Kit called Augustine seven times that night. After she walked out on him to stay at one of her friends for the night. He wasn't sure which one and none of them would tell him. So Kit sat on the couch and cuddled with Remus all night, crying every so often. He felt like an ass hole, and he knew he deserved to feel this way. In the morning, he awoke to Remus barking. Kit crawled out of bed and dragged himself to the door, upon opening it, Augustine stood on the porch in her pajamas and swollen eyes.
"Love, I'm sorry. I-I-I don't know why it made me so upset, I was just jealous and I started to overthink." Kit stutterer, starting to cry now too. Augustine gave him a small smile and pulled the boy into a tight embrace. This was the first fight, and they were both determined for it to be the last.
