Audrey's Point of View

The next day

I wake up around 11 AM I don't have to teach until 3:30 so I have like 4 hours to do nothing I check my phone and of course nothing. I really need this job I finally get out of bed I go downstairs and turn on the TV and watch Community on Netflix I couldn't really focus though I just stare at my phone waiting for a phone call or a text or an email anything
'Bring' bring' my phones buzzing I have a call from an unknown number I take a deep breath before I answer it
"Hello" I say
"Hi is that Audrey Wright" the unknown caller says
"Yes" I reply
"I am glad to tell you that you've been chosen as one of the dancers for the second part of the audition"
"Second part?" I ask
"Yes you have to come to the studio and audition seeing how you do under pressure. since you are not from California we'll be emailing you your plane ticket"
"Ok thank you" I smile I hang up and immediately checked my email to see that they did send me a plane ticket
I go on the group chat with my friends and text them saying I have to go to LA to audition again
I look at some videos of my dances trying to choose which one

I decide on using 'Like A Boy' I look at the information
"Holy shit" I mutter I leave tomorrow wtf
I pull out my suitcase from under my bed and start packing I look at the time it's 2 pm I get ready for dance quickly and leave I get there early so I could practice my dance for the audition and also talk about me leaving to my boss and who will teach the kids
Soon enough it was 3:30 I open the door to my studio letting the kids run in
"Hi miss Audrey" they all chant
"Hey guys lets start warm up"

After I get home from teaching I see my parents home
"Hey mom I'm going to LA tomorrow" I say im not that close with my parents so it's not a big deal
"Why" my dad asks
"An audition" I say while walking upstairs
I have an Older brother named Alex he's in college got in on a football scholarship and he's even lazier than me he doesn't go to class we are really close so I can't wait to see him next time he visits
