We went all went to Callum's house and Mrs. Jackson cooked us a nice hot meal, we all went to the living room were Jules was telling us about the shadows and how he felt them reaching out to him and how terrified he had been, Gaby was staring at the floor, she was unable to look Jules in the eyes and the pain she felt for him was crystal clear, so I told her to come with me. She then flashed a quick glance in Jules' direction and left with me. She started crying a lot, I hugged her and told her that the important thing now is that Jules is safe. She looked at me with her big, glossy eyes and I understood how she felt. I told her to go wash her face and as if on cue, Callum's mum called us out for dinner. I made sure to sit next to Callum so that Julian and Gaby would sit next to each other.
