Meeting the new Pillars

Today was the day when I would be meeting the new pillars. Ubuyakushi-sama said that he would be introducing us to the new Mist and Love pillar. I thought it made sense for the Mist Pillar, but Love was definitely unique breathing. I got up early, and I was super excited.

I was looking out the window until someone knocked on the door. I went downstairs to check out who it was.

"Oh! Shinobu-sama, what are you doing here?" I was surprised.

"Oh, well I thought that I would come to visit your estate," she said.

Kuro was with me, and I was giving him some food, as well as petting him. He loved it when he had extra time to spare with me.

"What about Kanao, and Aoi?"

"Ah, Aoi is doing the laundry and Kanao was training, in a year or so she should be able to complete all the flower breathing forms."

"I am guessing in a year when both Kanao and I are 16, Kanao will try to be a demon slayer? I mean, I doubt that she will fail. She has a keen sense of sight, and I believe she can do it" I told Shinobu.

"Thank you, anyways, are you excited to meet the new pillars?"

"Yes! More excited than ever!" I replied to Shinobu's question.

We walked together to the Master's mansion. It had been a year since we were called to the Master's mansion. That was the year when Shinobu-sama had become a hashira. I was 14 back then. But now I am 15, and 2 more hashiras are joining. I couldn't help but get excited.

But for some reason, I got a flashback of when I was with grandpa.

Zenitsu, grandpa, Kaigaku... It has been around 2 or 4 years... I have forgotten and I still haven't given you a letter, nor have I visited you.

"Kimiko-sama, you okay?" she asked.

"Huh, oh I'm fine. And just call me Kimiko." I said as I smiled.

"Okay... Kimiko, we're almost here,"

After we arrived we bowed to Ubuyashiki-sama's presence.

"Hello, my beautiful children. Today is such a beautiful day to discuss the entry of 2 new pillars. As we discussed today you will be meeting the new Mist Pillar, and the new Love Pillar. Allow me to show you," he said.

There was a beautiful girl with pink hair with green ends. She had bright green eyes, but her uniform was very revealing. She had an embarrassed look.

"Would you like to introduce yourself?" The master asked.

"H-Hai! I am Kanroji Mitsuri, the new Love Pillar! I-I hope we can get along!" she said with an embarrassed look.

After a young boy, the same age- or younger than me. He had bright teal eyes, though they had no life in them, like Giyuu-sama. He had dark black hair, with teal ends. He was shorter than me. He looked uninterested and unamused the whole time.

"I am Muichiro Tokito, the new Mist Pillar," he said coldly.

The new pillars were standing before me, I was wondering how strong they were. After the master left the mansion, we got to know each other. I decided to talk to Kanroji-sama.

"Ohayo Kanroji-sama, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am Kimiko Kuwajima. The current Thunder Hashira."

"S-SAMA! PLEASE KUWAJIMA-SAMA, I AM STILL NEW. YOU ARE PROBABLY STRONGER THAN ME! SO... YEAH! IT IS A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU TOO" she exclaimed making me and the other hashiras jump.

"O-Okay" I replied.

"ALSO PLEASE CALL ME MITSURI!" she said bowing.

"Huh, okay sure," I replied.

Tokito then tapped my shoulder.

"How old are you? And what breathing style do you use? How strong are you?" he asked.

"Oh, I am 15 years old, Thunder Breathing, and currently I am the 3rd strongest currently," I replied.

"Oh, okay, I will forget anyway," he said.

Everyone got to know each other. Months passed, and Tokito rocketed up the ranks, while Mitsuri went up a few. But still, they were exceptionally strong. Muichiro was the 4th strongest and Mitsuri was the 8th strongest.

"So, Kimiko-chan, I was wondering if you wanted to train!" Mitsuri said.

"Huh, sure!" I said excitedly.

We started to train. Mitsuri was very flexible. She could do the most insane movements, and dodge many attacks. That was her defense. All I did was stand in my stance and waited for Mitsuri.

"Why is the yellow-eyed girl not moving, she is obviously not going to win," Tokito said.

"That's the thing that pisses me off. Kuwajima does not go for offense right away. She has a keen sense of hearing, and she can pick up even the faintest noises. From a tap on the ground to a beat of a heart. She is almost unstoppable when she is in full focus." Shinazugawa said with an annoying grin.

"Not just that, but she has flashy reflexes and reaction time. Using her flamboyant sense of hearing, she uses her flashy reflexes and reaction time to stop her opponent." Uzui added.

"SHE IS ALSO VERY FAST AND STRONG! WHEN I WAS FACING OFF WITH HER, SHE WAS SO FAST SHE DISAPPEARED! HAHAHA! SHE IS AS FAST AS LIGHTNING! I MEAN SHE IS THE THUNDER HASHIRA FOR A REASON! HAHAHA!" Rengoku exclaimed.

"She also is pretty flexible, and can make strategies, even in the toughest of times," Giyuu said plainly.

"Wow, so you finally talk?" Obanai said.

"Ssh, No fighting with our comrades Obanai-kun. But Kuwajima also has a lot of stamina, and endurance. She can adapt to any form of the situation" Gyomei said.

"In conclusion, instead of being a loud and rushing through a type of thunder, she is a quiet and delicate type of thunder," Shinobu said finishing up the power you had.

"Wow, the yellow-eyed girl is powerful," he said as he looked at you.

Mitsuri started to run towards you, you listened.

I am sorry grandpa for looking through the book you told me to never touch. The transparent world or whatever is something I think I can never achieve. But... I have my ears. Just listen Kimiko.

I heard a heartbeat behind me, I quickly turned around and chopped Mitsuri's neck, I quickly ran and got her before she fell hard to the ground.

Tokito and Mitsuri were shocked.

"H-how did you know I was there?" Mitsuri asked.

"I heard your heartbeat," I replied.

"KYAAAA! SO AMAZING KIMIKO-SAMA!" Mitsuri exclaimed.

"Wow, she heard it..."

"I could also tell by the gust of wind..." I said.

"I forgot to say, not only can she do all those things at such a young age, but she can also utilize her surroundings to help her detect where her opponents are. From a vase shattering to a mere gust of wind," Gyomei started, "I the Rock Pillar, the strongest of all pillars is blind. But I have an immense hearing to make up for it. But, I strongly believe that Kuwajima-san has more capabilities with her ears than mine."

"Even Gyomei complimented Kuwajima, I envy her dearly," Sanemi said.

"Shut up, you have special blood," Iguro said.

"HUUUUUUH?" Sanemi was acting all tough and mighty.

"Kuwajima is powerful... I am looking forward to being a pillar now" said Muichiro while he grinned looking at you.
