The date is September 4, 2025... On this day, a strange natural disaster struck the archipelago nation of Japan, located in the far east of Asia.

A slight earthquake struck the entire country, and suddenly all communication with satellites and other countries was cut off. Overnight, the economy and communications were in the greatest turmoil in history, and all modes of transportation, including international flights, had to be suspended. The Japanese people were filled with confusion, anxiety, and chaos, but the government succeeded in putting a stop to the chaos with a "Second Jewel Voice" broadcast.

The government then sent a destroyer from Sasebo, Japan to make physical contact with the US forces stationed on the Korean Peninsula. However, there was no land where Korea was supposed to be. The government continued to send ships and planes to the Kamchatka Peninsula, Guam, Taiwan, and South China, but could not find the land where it was supposed to be.

Now the government is faced with a possibility. They may have moved to another world...

Former Sea of Japan

A week after the natural disaster, a ship is anchored at sea. The captain and nearly 3.000 crew members are waiting for a report from the ship's fighter jets, which launched from the catapults on deck a few hours ago.

"This is Jack 1, 500 kilometers northwest, still no land in sight."

"This is Akagi, acknowledged. Continue straight ahead."

The report from the F-35C, which had taken off from what should have been called the Sea of Japan, came into the Akagi's Combat Direction Center (CDC). It had been a week since the Maritime Self-Defense Force and the Air Self-Defense Force had jointly explored the surrounding sea area, and today they were exploring the area where a region called the Primorsky Krai should have existed.

"Not today either..."

As he listened to the report from the F-35C at the CDC, the captain of the Akagi, Captain Tadashi Ando, muttered in disappointment. Just as they were all thinking that, they suddenly heard the jubilant voices of the pilots.

"This is Jack! We have discovered land, 630 kilometers northwest!"

"Are you sure!?"

Captain Ando greeted the pilot's words with joy, and the rest of the crew couldn't hide their delight at the long-awaited report from the F-35C.

"What about civilization? Does it exist!?"

"Yes, I can see inhabited towns on the coast! There is civilization on this land!"

The pilot's further report made the crew even more excited.

"Well done! Return immediately! We will immediately report the discovery of land to the government!"

"Copy!"

Forty minutes later, the F-35C landed on the runway of the Akagi, a fighter destroyer (aircraft carrier). The Japanese government then began to secretly survey this newly discovered island using patrol planes and fighter jets.
