"hyung, have you ever been inlove?"

Taehyung turns to see Jungkook, who is now facing him. doe eyes gazing his.

He smiles at the younger's question. "yes, i have, jungkookie. yes, i have. " he answers. then chuckles as he flicks Jungkook's forehead, making the younger pout.

"why? is my jungkookie inlove?" Taehyung jokingly tease with a grin, not knowing that the younger took his tease seriously.

Jungkook nods eagerly. Taehyung's grin falters. "what? really?" eyes widen, he asks the younger.

Taehyung sees Jungkook's cheeks heating up, "hyung, i think i'm inlove... i think im inlove with jimin-hyung.." the  younger says, gives him a shy smile and looks away.

Taehyung's jaw drops. he eyes Jungkook in disbelief. "w-what..? jimin? the park jimin?! "

Jungkook's brow furrows, the younger pouts at him. "hyung, don't make fun of me! and yes, it is 'the' park jimin! " he sulks.

Taehyung closes his eyes for a second and opens them again. he gives the younger a force smile and hugs him.

"hyung, are you crying?"

"yes," he doesn't deny it. what for?

Jungkook lets go of the hug and cups Taehyung's face. "why?"

Taehyung shakes his head. "im... just happy, i guess,"

"happy...?"

The elder nods, "yes. that finally, my... my jungkookie, my little—" his voice cracks, "brother is finally inlove!" he laughs. the 'brother' taste different in his mouth but he chose not to mind it.

The younger looks at him worriedly. "hyung, you're crying. " Jungkook points out.

"what?! no, no. i'm not. im happy, jungkookie. can you not see my smile? i am happy! just... i need to go, okay?"

"go where? it's past midnight. "

"just.. " 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑝𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑓𝑢𝑙. "somewhere," he runs off. ignoring the calls from the  younger.

Taehyung stops when he is finally away from Jungkook. he lets his tears brim freely. not even stopping them. intead, he embraces those tears.

Taehyung grips his chest that is now burning from the pain. he sighs.
